Did a lot of AV today.. second best game. Got a better one while on the Xfire live stream (nearly 4 million damage and many more kills), but this one was decent. As Horde I only lost 1 AV today. Reckoning Horde is fixated on the fail zerg strat, but I've learned to counter that - I hope they fail because I can wipe galv and recap as much as I like, and many times prevent drek from being killed for a very long time.

This shows the power of the comp. I have to admit, it's extraordinarily difficult to play, but has a higher skill cap than quad shaman. With skill, and just fast reflexes, the number of unorganized (or organized?) people you can take on at once is amazing - 10-15 if you play well and don't run into 7 warlocks. Quad shaman, as I've said in many threads before.. problem is, head to head: you can't really take on more people no matter how much gear you have. As it was when I was in savage/hateful gear - I take on 4-5 at once, only now I kill them faster. Any more and it becomes overwhelm and a aoe cc fest. Welcome to WOTLK.

Anyway, here it is:

Nice stuff. Thanks for posting.

Personally, I find melee teams easier than shaman teams. I like being the aggressor of rolling Abrams tanks rather than sitting inside a castle fending off attackers. I admit I was never very good at quad shamans since I would start to panic fairly early in the matches, but with melee for some reason its alot more fun rolling in and causing other people to panic and I seem to get better results this way more often than not.

It's tough to beat Shamans. Fear just rapes my 4x pallies and DKs in BG. I can't even hold a tower vs 2 priests.

We started 16 v 40 on this game and came back - it was too funny.

I know this is a little off topic(my apologies), when I was stationed in europe mainly Germany, but flew all over Europe to different TDY. I got ask if I was dutch all the time because my last name is dutch. Since my last name was plastered right on the front of my uniform they could see my last name. I would get people whistling at me all the time until I was told by some people in holland what my last name meant. I called my dad the next day and he couldnt stop laughing.

Anyways, after that I had a new nickname that stuck thru the rest of my military career. One thing I gotta say about most of europe in general is that it is one of the most amazing places I have ever seen.

What does it mean!! :P I was stationed west coast and had an AO in the pacific rim. My deployment cycles were very unique and very hush, so I didn't do as much exploring as I would have liked. I still dream of making it to europe for a summer tho, I know I'd love it.

RE. fear, why don't u just stagger 5 tremors?

I've been running all 5 shamans as dps ... does it make that much of a difference using 1 as a healer?

Fear isn't a problem on my shamans, just on my 4 pallies and DK - that's why I don't even bother to play them anymore even thought they have good gear.

I like having one guy heal, since I don't really pay attention to my health bars, I think it helps out. Also it throws heals to whoever is getting focus fired. I just have /cast [target=focustargettarget] chain heal

Trinket, Bubble, Lichborne, Cleanse, freedom.... if that isn't enough tools to get you out of fear then i dunno what to tell ya man.

Why is fear a big problem on your melee team? I can easily handle up to 3 fear bombs.
first - trinket
second - bubble
third - eat or or cross cleanse

unlike the shaman, they don't eat shit when feared and can easily get back on track via IWT once it's over.

I have more problems with fear on the shaman. Even when the tremors eat them in 1-3 seconds, they're all facing the wrong way and practically dead because they're about as soft as arcane mages.
