So with my 5x death knights my only focus is really pvp. I'm just wondering what proffessions would help increase their survival rate the best as that's their weakest point going a Frost / blood spec.

I plan on making all of five of them herbalist for the lifebloom spell, with hopes it gets bumped up in the future.

I was going to make all five alchemist for the increased affect of guardian / battle elixers, but am wondering if their is anything better I could do.

So far this group will have:
Bandages,
Potions,
Lifebloom,
Improved rune tap
Blood Presence (Not improved)

3 Fear removals (human racial, trinket, lichborn)

Any thoughts? Thanks

Drop one and add a healer is about the only other thing I could think of.

If I'm not mistaken the Human racial shares a CD with the trinket.

I think blood has the best self healing, too bad they nerved much of the group healing. I think he wants to stick with all DKs as he can start right away, and not have to worry about leveling another toon right now.

And yes, human racial shares a CD with the trinket. But it saves you a trinket slot, so I'd go that route anyway.

Thanks for the comments,

Yea the human racial does share a cooldown but indeed does free up a trinket slot.

I got my herbalism up to 75 (lifeblood rank 1) on all guys today. Also did some testing in WG all day with different specs.

I stuck to 1 tier as im only level 59 now.
Unholy is great at nuking fast but not enough survivability.
Frost is great when you get in a pinch, surrounded by horde pop hungering cold (round robin) and kill them 1 at a time.

Blood is what im sticking with for now. Will go deep blood (up to hearth strike) + frost at 80.
With blood (rune tap every 30 secs, potions, bandages, and lifebloom, improved blood presence) I'm able to effectively kill pretty much 8 - 10 people coming at me in a group.

The biggest problem I have is forst mages casting blizzard, though Ive learned to death grip + mind freeze + quick 2 second kill before they cast it. This will become even easier at 60 with strangulate.

DK's seem a bit overpowered in this bracket, we'll see how I'm doing once at 68 in the next bracket.

I would probably go Inscription and Engineering for pvp.
Although Jewelcrafting and Blacksmithing are both very nice.

Engineering for the Rocket Gloves and other toys, plus the chance to rez.
Inscription because if you min/max, the shoulder enchant over Hodir enchants is a larger difference then other profession bonuses over the non-profession option.

Jewelcrafting for Dragon's Eye Gems is very close.
Plus you can make a fair bit from the daily or learn epic cuts much faster then others.

Blacksmithing, purely for the extra Prismatic sockets.

It will be worthwhile having at least one enchanter on the team.
So you have the option to Disenchant, if no one is upgraded by a PvE Heroic drop.

You'll gear up faster in Heroics, using badges to buy PvP gear.
Or better, badges to buy a full set of PvE gear... and then tear through the place for badges to buy PvP stuff.
And the Enchanter will make you a lot of gold from items that DE into dust, abyss crystals or greater cosmic essences (vendor > Dream Shards, most of the time now).
