attack focus focus?

Hi there,

i'm multiboxing since a couple of days, and i'm still looking for some makros to help my projekt growing.

This is the situation:
I'm playing a priest and two warlocks (priest is master and warlocks are slaves)

At the moment both warlocks have the priest as their focus and both assist him with attacks.

Now I would like to change a little bit. My idea is that one of the warlocks still assists the priest attacking the priests target.

The second warlock I want him to attack the priests focus if he has one.

The thought behind this idea is, that if there are two mob in front, I could easily manage which warlock attacks which mob, over taking one in target and one in focus (with the priest).

Now, has anybody any idea how such a macro would look like?

When I played rogue long time ago, I always used this macro

/cast [target=focus, exists, harm] blind
/cast [nostealth, harm] blind

this macro casts blind on the focus if there is one, otherwise it casts blind on my target.

now I need such a macro for my focus focus, is that possible?

You won't be able to use another player's focus - only your own. So trying to get one warlock to target the priest's focus when the priest isn't actually targeting his focus will not work.

You can try assisting the priest and focus his target, so if the priest moves to a different target then the warlock is still focused on the first target. The second warlock doesn't have to focus, he can assist the priest for the new target each time. That's the only way I can think of doing what you're trying to accomplish.

The best you'll get is to have the toon in question target their focus target.
And once they are doing so, acquire their target.

Toon A, wants to target the focus of their focus (Toon B).

Have Toon B target their focus.
/target [target=Focus]

Then have Toon A assist.
/target [target=FocusTarget]

But that only works, if you can make the focus of Toon A target their focus.
IE, if its your team, you can do it with a two step mapped key, or with two macros.
But you cannot make your arena opponent (Focus) target their own focus.
