Ok, so the wife and I have been playing Aion, and I'm simply too frustrated with the ganking that leaves me with no ability to level up one toon, much less six........so as of yesterday I officially cancelled all my accounts.

I tried Star Trek online, but the "phew phew phew" of the phasers just proved to be too boring.

I've been reading all the updates and it looks like quite a bit has changed.

I have 5 of every class leveled up to 60 or higher. My pallies are 80, have some teams around 70, but I essentially have everything open for play at this point.

I remember starting my 5 pally team and you could count the other pally teams on one hand. Now I'm seeing TONS of vids up on Youtube with all-pally teams.

Any quick thoughts on coming back? Pros? Cons??

I'm doing my research and reading up on all of this, but figured feedback from actual boxers would be helpful as well.

Thanks!

A few reasons to come back...

- The new dungeon finder tool is awesome sauce.
- New raid and 5 man instances
- 5 Pallies viable for the new 5 man heroics.
- Full T9 available for heroic badges.
- New tier of PvP gear available, including 3 ilvl 264 off pieces for honor only.

Cheers,
S.

I'd dare say WOW is more fun now than ever before. Like mentioned above T9 and raid gear are available to all. Getting the frost badge/raid gear takes a long time but at least it's a route for us non raiders.

Took 2 long breaks from WOW myself and they don't call it Warcrack for nothing!

If you've been away from Warcraft for a while, it will be new and fresh.

For me, I periodically need breaks from any MMO (this was true for Star Wars and Everquest, both before WoW), but having taken a break (2 weeks - 3 months) the game is fresh and quite fun for at least 4-6 months.
