Over the past 3 days....
Mages 65-70
Warlocks 65-68
Pally/DK 60-64
Grrr my mind wont stop thinking of the different pewpew chances!
:(
1. This post makes no sense. I'm guessing you're trying to say you keep switching between toons because you can't choose what to level.
2. Why do you use the forums as your own personal blog?

Leveling up toons here or there...
Gets you more options, whether for tradeskills, pvp, pve, future teams etc.
As long as the game is fun...

Tis still fun. I just have a lack of an idea of what i really want to do since my trade skill stuff is basically done.

If you don't like what i post about, or how i post it then put me on ignore. No one forces you to read what i have to say.

Well the gold opens doors for a while, but you'll reach a point where there's nothing you can purchase which is an upgrade.
It will be nice to be able to buy epic flyers for your friends when they go Worgen/Goblins in Cataclysm, or to do the same for your entire team as soon as they qualify.
Similarly, BoE's which drop in 25 man raids that you cannot box, are more immediately available.
On my server, there are very geared pvp toons who will group with your toon for "x" amount of gold in a 2's arena team to get your rating to whatever. Generally they charge so much for as many games as it takes for you to reach 1800, which gets you (I think) the lower end arena weapons.
Some of the better geared guilds, which have everything on farm have introduced GDKP raids. You basically get 8 or 10 people who want to gear up, with the rest of the raid able to essentially solo the content. They try to have 2-3 people able to use each type of drop. And then something drops, you bid against the others, actually paying 25x whatever you bid. After the raid, the total amount is split 25 ways, which can be decent when gear goes for 5k or 10k per piece.
Gold opens options like these.
But, you reach a point where its only purpose is the game of how much can I get in total, or how much can I make in this time period. Or can I control this entire product on the auction house.
I'd like enough to basically do all of the above, and to not ever need to farm it again. I'll probably do the transmutes faithfully, for quite a while even when I don't need the gold. But, it is a means to an end, and not the end purpose, at least for me.

This would be appropriate for a twitter post.
As far as alts, I'd love to have everything, but every time I get that itch I imagine what they'd be like at 80.
- BG Viable?
- Arena viable?
- Heroic viable?
If they aren't all 3, or at least bg and heroic, I try not to waste my time. And with BG's, I don't agree with people saying almost any homogeneous group is BG viable - gibbing 1 target, or even 1 for 1 isn't really worth the effort in my opinion. When I think BG viable - if I have 4 toons, I want to be able to take on 6+ at a time. That;s one issue I still have with my shaman in wotlk, the fact that all the gear in the world only enables you to kill the same number of people faster, not necessarily take on any more than you are roling with, unless you significantly outplay them... but in that case you might as well play solo... frost mage or something, and take on 3 people at once.

That's my problem. I see the light at the end of the tunnel for one specific thing and then it's like "oops."
I've decided what i'm going to do. Do my daily frost badge on my main team as well as my 32 x-mutes, and the rest of the time will be spent leveling my ret/dk team AND my mage team. I love end game PVE and i only seem to have fun doing it on a mage... i LOVE end game pvp... but i only have ever enjoyed it on a ret pally, dk, and rogue.
