ok I recently saw the coolness of multiboxing but I can't find anything and I need some help. What is the best multiboxing software/'s that are free. If anyone knows of a free alternative to ******** plz tell me, cuz I really like that one. I want to be able to see atleast the 2 screens with being able to have them cast same as me, one is set as heals and one is DPS, also the ability to turn off mouse copying so I can for instance have 1 person loot and the other to pass or but something the other doesn't. Any help is a big thanks from me because I already bought the other account and I don't want it to go to waste. Only on 1 pc, also its windows 7 so they need to be compatible plz and ty

Look for posts on AutoHotKey, HotKeyNet, Octopus etc.

ok thanks, couldn't find octopus but HotkeyNet works fine for me and for some reason AutoHotkey doesn't seem to work with windows 7. is there something to help with viewing the 2 characters?

My understanding is that HKN will cover maximizer / Picture in Picture etc as long as it is setup correctly.
I'd suggest you check out our software solutions section here:
http://www.dual-boxing.com/forumdisplay.php?f=28
or the wiki link at the top of the page here for examples on HotKeyNet setup scripts. There's also a HKN forum as far as I know, where you can probably find more detailed answers if that's the direction your're wanting to go.

Of the free options, probably HKN.
Although Mojo shows a lot of promise (same author).
Not sure if Mojo is a ready version yet, or if it's still in development.
Quite a few like Octopus, but the developer has been gone for a while.
So there are no updates, and its getting hard to find a version of it.
If you need to invest in 5x Battlechests + 5x WotLK + 5x Cataclysm (assuming 5-boxing)...
And are paying 5x monthly subscriptions... that's not cheap, if you cannot really afford a pay option for the boxing software.
Overall, the hobby is pretty cheap compared to many others, but if $20 for a keyclone license or $36/year for an IS Boxer subscription is too much to spend, the Blizzard subscription is probably too much too.
