ok, so im starting to multibox again, first time for WoW, since i had previously multiboxed on DAOC...
So i need some major help to start out..
from what ive read, ill need ISboxer, or Keyclone. and Jamba addon.
now for making accnts ill be making 4, since my friend have an accnt he'll be playin the 5th for my 5man..
so to buy accnts ive activated 4 free trials with RAF, now to upgrade, to i need to buy 4 BC for all accnts + WOTL for all accnts?
or just WoTL for all 4 accnts?!
and Keyclone/ISboxer u must pay for correct? is it worth the money?
or is it better to invest more time into HKN and redo all my scripts for WoW and such?
(though im liking FTL setup, and dont kno if Keyclone has that...)
Any responses to my questions will be most appreciated :D

Yup some sort of broadcasting software:
HKN is free
Keyclone has a one time fee of 20 USD
ISboxer has a yearly subscription fee of 36 USD
ISboxer has things like FTL and such built in, and also has many mouse broadcasting options that are pretty much required for boxing melees.
Keyclone is ridiculously simple and easy to use - at least in my opinion, but lacks many of the bells and whistles of ISboxer
I have never used HKN but have tried isboxer and use keyclone. Either is definitely worth spending money on, and will make your life infinitely simpler. Jamba is also the most amazing boxing addon ever written, and you will want it.
I'm sure others wil give their opinions on the various boxing options. There are also many threads already comparing them - take a look through the search function.
You will need BC and WOTLK for all accounts if you plan on playing to level 80. Vanilla will allow you play to 60, BC to 70, and WOTLK to 80.
You migh also consider just taking the plunge and buying the fifth account. Having your own group is extremely nice.

I would recommend IS Boxer.
It has a lot of features, which you can do with other software, but which are integrated and automatic.
Mouse broadcasting and instant PiP swap speed are major features of IS Boxer.
Mapped Keys (Keymaps) and Action Target Groups, get you amazing options compared to anything else.
My guide (in the signature) is a walkthrough of IS Boxer, as well as how to modify it to what you want when boxing.
There are a lot of resources on www.ISBoxer.com (http://www.ISBoxer.com), in the form of written guides, forum posts and video guides too.
Not to mention, the IRC usually has someone on who can help with most issues.
Other boxing options include:
- Auto Hot Key (free)
- Game Comander Pro (Pay)
- Hot Key Net (free)
- Keyclone (Pay)
- Mojo (free)
- Octopus (free)
Jamba is an addon, written by a boxer -- to make boxing easier.
It will run with any of the boxing software options you go with, and is highly recommended.
It is not software dependent.
*Edit*
I'd recommend having your friend send the RAF invite to you.
From their account management page.
Use the emailed RAF link to create your account.
And then upgrade it with a Battlechest (which is Classic + Burning Crusade)
You'll still need Wrath of the Lich King for each account.
From your existing account (the one you just made), send yourself and RAF invite.
Use the link to create the account (same as above), and then upgrade it.
Daisy chain your own accounts, one from the previous.
That's probably the best option to go with, especially when you're starting out.
It results in the most total levels from RAF, and spreads them out across all your accounts.
If you can have your friend "boost" you, that will help immensely.
Basically go to an instance with the friend.. ideally with mobs 4-5 levels above your toons.
Your friend goes through and clears it fast.
And you get massive experience in a short time.
A decent guide for RAF boosting is:
01-10 Quest
11-20 SFK (Horde) or 11-16 Deadmines (Alliance) & 16-20 Stockades (Alliance)
20-45 Scarlet Monastery
45-55 Stratholme or Scholomance
55-60 Ramparts.

Well.. the battlechest is classic + burning crusade, basically for the price of either.
Wrath of the Lich King is down the road, doesn't have to be at the same time.
RAF will be 1st to 60th, in a fraction of the time.
And honestly, I'd probably do 4-5 teams during RAF.
But that is up to you.
60th to 70th is relatively fast, especially considering you need 30% less experience then when that was the current content.
But you'd likely not need WotLK for a few months anyway, if you were doing a few teams.

Up to you where you play.
But Private Servers are against the EULA/ToS, so we don't really want them discussed here.
The admins try to keep everything legitimate and within the rules.
Warcraft has been around for 5 years.
And is probably currently the best game in the genre as well as the best for that entire period.
Nothing is the top forever, but nothing is close to warcraft as of yet.
Boxing isn't really that cheap of an activity.
But its a lot cheaper then many others.
The initial investment per account, and the infrequent expansions all add up to a bit.
But its a lot cheaper of a hobby then a lot of others.
We definitely get our money's worth.

oh it is ^^ well then disregard what i said before hand lol.
but i will agree it is a bit cheaper than other hobbies, but WoW is expensive
to multibox compared to the games i have multiboxed on, since u didnt have the all
the expansions :P
but one thing i will disagree on is that WoW is not #1. maybe for PVE content but
it cant even compare to other games for PVP.
and theres also the fact that there are other games that have like 4x the pop of wow ^^ :P
