Help me out here =P

The situation:
I'm turning into a hardcore slacker, I had a moment of "enlightenment" when I figured I spend too much sitting in chairs at work and school. I dont want to spend even more time sitting then I have to, so Im looking for solutions to let me lie comfortable on my sofa and relax with my computer.

What I Want:
3x24" screens suspended in some way in front of me for comfortable viewing when slacking on my sofa. The tricky part is I also need to be able to rotate or swivel the monitors out of the way when I dont need them, so they dont block view to the big screen on the wall. A 90 degree turn on whatever they are mounted on should suffice.

Look on the attached image below to see what I want (red number 1 & 2 for different monitor position, and bottom of image for a possible solution to this).

Im asking for advice here since Im sure there is plenty of lazy slo..*cough* ... people here with knowledge on multi monitor stands and setups :)

My monitors are of this type http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824014173 and I'm looking at both 3x1 stands as well as solutions with multiple monitor arms. Preferably total cost should be below 1000$.

search this forum for monitor stands. There have been some holding 6 monitors and with the right base could be made to swing and swivel how ever needed.

You will also need something like the machine the governor of Phatt Island in Monkey Island 2 used to have... That delivers your food in liquid form right to your sofa!

I've found an old picture of what it could look like: http://www.miwiki.net/images/thumb/GovPhatt.jpg/300px-GovPhatt.jpg

Mallaen, What makes you think that is not *sluuurp* already installed? :P

Found something nice to mount the entire rabble on, it has WHEELS for easy movement :D
I'll probably remove the top drawer and put something heavy in the bottom one to improve stability and keep it from falling over. It will just barely fit in the corner between wall and sofa so even if it ends up looking like a mess it will still be hidden and placed out of sight. Actually I keep a room so dark no one would notice anyway.

About ~70$

Edit, Maybe I should add a handle to the thing to make it even easier to rotate.. I should name this thing "The Slackmachine Ultra 2000!" =D

The Ergotron arms are all very, very high quality. I cannot recommend them strongly enough!

Now you are talking, I want a laziBoy to help my back and still play WoW and you are close to perfection. The rest of the details would be handled my 3 slaves err Wife and 2 kids.

I tried finding a single stand for my 24"monitors for months, the only one I found and purchased could barely hold them up, and they had to be rotated (Not an option for 3D applications) so atm, I use the stand on my racing sim with 3x 22" screens and I am still looking for something for the 24's or 27's (reasonably priced)

Looks like the only real option is a custom job or multiple arms :(
