Ok so I'm sure I'm being a complete idiot here but is it me or does tourguide install completely differently to every other wow addon, because i just cant get it to show up in my addon list at all.
I have downloaded http://www.alcattle.net/TGfiles/TourGuide_RAF_Alliance_File1_Update5.ZIP
and have extracted the contents of this zip to here (I'm on a mac so this will be a different file structure to windows users):
/Applications/World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns/TourGuide_Alliance
However, the addon does not show up in the enable/disable addons list at the character screen.
To be honest I didnt understand this part of the installation instructions:
Install instructions: AFTER installing the above, delete everything in this folder: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\TourGuide\TourGuide_Alli ance. (you can make a back up if you wish) Then un zip ìTourGuide_RAF_Alliance.ZIPî into that folder. Why would there be anything to delete if I'm just installing this for the first time?
I have also tried the macro
/click TourGuideItemFramebut it doesnt seem to show anything different.
Any help would be gratefully recieved :)
