Hey guys. My paladin just hit 20 and the shammies hit 19. I am now having to seriously think where to put the next few points so I do not gimp myself during the instance grinding in WC.

I was thinking now that I have redoubt and Toughness, I should go with blessing of king. But maybe shield spec is better right now.

Do you all have a build plan for a pally tank?

I could use the same for shammy dps as well.

What talents and in what order did you take them?

look up a cookie cutter prot build pally tank and work your way thru the talents (prot talents first)...main 2 youre working towards is the imp righteous fury and the blessing of sacrifice and holy shield (those 3 get you the aggro the fastest in multi mob pulls....of of the rest of the talents are survivability

that's my prot spec grp tank if want to use that (more or less cookie cutter)

---- also--- get the highest rank shield spike and splurge on a decent shield every few lvls (there are no lvl limitations on shiled spikes so get a thorium one since they are cheap as soon as can)

Prot.

Go for threat first -- all instances under 60 can be cleared with a offspec tank as long as you're wearing good gear. Heck, a shammy with a shield can tank easily up to SM, maybe farther.

Just use good judgement with talents -- I'd suggest threat only because shammies don't get reduced threat talents until late in the tree. Then go for mitigation after. Once you hit Holy Shield you should be golden. :)

The lady speaks troof. I hit 40 in SM the other night. THe difference between 39 and 40 was the difference between sheeping a few and fireballing 'em down to holy shield-->round up 2-3 packs of 'em-->consecrate-->AoE the crap out of everything with the mages and never get aggro. Righteous fury is such an awesome buff.
