I have a 70 rogue and with the recent nerfs decided to lvl another character. I was getting kind of frustrated with the "grind" again and remembered that my mom had a warrior around the same lvl as my shaman and so i started searching to see if i could find a way to legally lvl them both without alt-tabbing.
I found this site downloaded keyclone and now im addicted The warrior is 31 and the Shaman is 32 and i can easily fight 2 38's I spec'd the shaman fully resto and will continue to do so, Warrior is full fury atm. If any of you have any suggestions as far as macro's or setups go or even good places to lvl through 70 I would appreciate it. I really wish i would have known about this a long time ago makes the boring grind fun for me!!

Welcome to our world =)

A fair word of warning: Many start with 2 chars but end up with 5! =)

As for advice, the best is to just play a bit and see where you need help.

If you can specify areas where you have trouble I am sure we can help you out.

Also read the stickys, there are some great tips in them.

Enjoy the universe of split personality disorders also know as multiboxing. =)

Not to start drama but I don't understand why so many rogues saw that patch as nerf ;p Not only did it buff some things and remove some fairly cheap combos(prep + ar; as if you need that in a raid, you're still top dps on fights that aren't anti-melee) and despite the changes I've still been stunlocked so perfectly I can't react before i'm dead and that's with 13k boomkin armor + barkskin -20% reduction; nerfed my ass ;p On a related note my Rogue loves the patch, was combat maces but is now dagger subtlety(lvl'd it as subtlety daggers 1-60), good to have Subtlety skills useful again ;p

But yeah, welcome =x

I understand the patch wasnt that much of a nerf. It took away from the rogue aspect of it for me. I was a sword rogue have tried maces/daggers and so on... So you say it shouldn't effect me.... I didn't simply quit It's just frustrating when i've had to relearn and adapt to new specs so many different times. Rogues are not completely gimped although they do need massive amounts of work.. It just simply opened up a good time for me to lvl my other character and from that I discovered this site and about multi boxing. I find the multi boxing fascinating and it has really opened my eyes and made me think of different aspects i can try with it.

Apologies for the derail in advance.

I am completely out of touch with rogues. What was the nerf/change? Subtlety do decent dps now? Anyone have a non-wow forums link with a good write up? I saw the dirty deeds 10%/20% dmg change but that would hardly be enough to bring subtlety anywhere near combat dps.

I really enjoyed mutilate till we started doing poison immune bosses and I specced swords. Then I bought the MH arena sword. Is there a way you can exchange your arena sword for a dagger?

I might pvp with the rogue again if I can find a decent MH, got Emerald Ripper in the bank.
