Sorry, I should clarify... the ten months was mostly due to the What a Long Strange Trip it's Been (started that last Noblegarden). The Insane was started in late June and technically done (25 rep away from exaulted with DMF, and 5 rogues decks in my inventory) in between Christmas and New Years, but I wanted to get the two achievements one after the other.

It's a rep grind achieve. Simultaneously you have to be:

Honoured with Bloodsail Buccaneers
Exaulted with Ratchet
Exaulted with Everlook
Exaulted with Gadgetzan
Exaulted with Booty Bay
Exaulted with Shen'dralar
Exaulted with Ravenholdt
Exaulted with Darkmoon Faire

Basically, all the multi-week rep grinds that reward nothing at the end (except for the pirates, but they're there to make the goblin grind hard) except for rep discounts at 1-2 vendors (except the goblin towns, who have multiple vendors... they still don't offer anything but, though).

Breaking it down a bit, you would of needed approx 450 Pristine Black Diamonds (I am currently paying up to 300g each for these on my server) and approx 6000 Heavy Junkboxes.

You aren't arent just Insane, you're a damn mentalist! Congratulations, your sheer dedication in getting the 5 titles has to be one of the craziest things I have heard about in game.

Breaking it down a bit, you would of needed approx 450 Pristine Black Diamonds (I am currently paying up to 300g each for these on my server) and approx 6000 Heavy Junkboxes.

A few less diamonds, I only needed 409 (mage gets an extra quest so one less turnin!), and I think I paid an average of about 50g each on my server, with most of them coming from the Alliance AH: Horde-side I'd rarely see even one up, and that was for 100g+ (for a while there was one guy trying to sell 10ish of them for 500g each), but Alliance-side I'd pick up about 10-15 a week, and some of them were as low as 2-5g.
7000 junkboxes.
DMF decks would have been 7400 small decks (exclusively) OR about 525 big decks (exclusively). I think I turned in somewhere between 300-400 purple decks, which leaves somewhere between 2-3k small decks.

And thanks for all the gratz :) (gratzes?): There were more than a few times when I was going to say screw it and give up, but I kept pushing on, thinking "I'll get to brag about all this later" :)
