My most used addons for my slaves had for a long time been Multiboxer, Automaton and Jamba. After a while I disabled Multiboxer and noticed no difference as the other two addons covered the same functions. I thought it was funny that I had used an addon for so much time when it did absolutely nothing but cause bugs with the other similar addons.
I am now wondering if I can disable the Automaton addon as well, any thoughts? Is there anything Automaton will do that Jamba doesnt?
I know I could just disable it and see what happens, but who knows what rarely used feature Ill forget to try out..

I think you might want to be more specific about what functionality you're looking for....

l'll just try and disable Automaton however and see what happens.
EDIT: I still need Automaton for Battleground auto corpse release etc

No idea what automaton does, but I know a lot of different battleground/honor addons include the auto release thing.

I think jamba does everything that automaton did - i disabled automaton a while back. I actually disabled jamba too when i noticed it hadn't been updated in about a year and a half. yikes.

I don't use it anymore since Jamba provides almost all the functions that automaton used to provide...
the automatic corpse respawn maybe handled by another add-on, or you have to click the button or use a sigle macro with /script RetrieveCorpse();
