Mailbox Hack?

Today I logged in and had a mail to my bank alt from my main. That is not uncommon I mail stuff all the time from my main to my bank alt. What was weird is it had a message about buying and selling gold.

Normally seeing spam does not bother me it is just odd when it goes to my bank alt from my main.

All my accounts are secure so I was not hacked. I can only assume this is some mailbox hack. Scray thing is if they can send mail as you how long before they can recieve your mail as well?

Pay attention to details. If you still have the e-mail go back and look for odd characters, umlauts etc. It's not you, it just looks like you. This trick has been around since retail.

Yep, been getting lots of scam in game mail lately, just open it, and hit the report spam button.

Yeah I never thought of that could have been my main's name just mispelled with a special character. I reported it and then deleted it.
