Anyone else had assist bug out when used during a fear? Slaves don't assist me on new target unless I switch targets.
Anyone have a workaround for this? beside manually dropping target and reacquiring it, gets so annoying at times, sometimes I don't realized right away my slaves are bugged and on wrong target

Yes this is well documented. You must manually clear your target on your main then retarget to get assist to work again.

Also, while feared or otherwise crowd controlled, slaves don't seem to be able to see what you have targeted at all.
You can sort of get around this by including something like:
/targetlastenemy
Put that in your macro, prior to your assist line, so when the slaves cannot tell who you are targeting, you can have them attacking someone, until you can once more give them direction.

thanks for the reply, would /cleartarget /targetlasttarget in macro fix it? on the master

/cleartarget seems to fix it.
But don't put that in your assist/attack macro though. Put it into a separate key for easy access after a fear. Losing your target then re-target takes, you lose like half of your damage.

/agree with Remanz, you lose attack damage if you drop and require your target constantly though its a non issue for caster teams as they do not autoattack. With my melee team, I combine /cleartarget macro with my pvp trinket key

Im going to bet, that is what was causing me to *not* be able to reaquire targets on my paladins and DK, which ended up in them running and attacking all sorts of different people.
