It used to stack. I can't find anything in patch notes from 1.0 to now that says it changed. But they changed it to a debuff thing now.

Can ANYONe confirm this is still stacking? I'm testing with recount and not seeing any improvements on crit that I would expect.

HI.

You missed patch 3.0 by over a year. It does not stack anymore

Nah, he needs his crayons, people need to learn how to use the ignore feature.

I just hit 80 over the weekend on my team, and actually had a question about ToW.

For single shaman DPS, its recommended to glyph ToW for extra SP.

For a team of four shaman, do you:
A) drop four ToWs and get the buffs
B) drop 3 ToWs & Flametongue (gimping one shaman to help everyone else)
C) drop one ToW & different totems for everyone else
D) drop four ToWs, get the buff, then drop three different totems until the buff runs out - I don't know if this works, but when I recall my ToWs I still have the buff icon (it may be doing nothing SP-wise)

get the glyph so you get a spell boost for 5 min from using it.

Have all of the team drop the totem, either as part of your totem dropping macro, or on their own keybind.
The glyph for this, adds around 80 spell power (a percentage of the totems 280 spell power).

If you don't glyph Totem of Wrath...
Then no point in having more then one of them drop one.
Unless you think something will destroy the totem, and you'd like a redundant backup totem.

for my 5x shaman pvp team, only one drops ToW, and none are glyphed. Magmas is what I use almost exclusively. 4 magmas tick for quite a bit when melee are on me, and 5 novas can kill wounded melee. Often, in a big fight I completely ignore melee, and just take out ranged, while magma/nova/thunderstorm takes care of the melee.

for PvE, my heroic boxing shaman still has it, but ill probably replace it with glyph of lava. my raiding shaman replaced it a while, and got more dps out of other glyphs, i think i have glyph of lava, lightning both, and flame shock.

people need to learn how to use the ignore feature.
Shouldn't be necessary to put a senior member of a board on ignore. That's usually reserved for trolls.

Usually. ;)

the time a member has been on the board and the # of posts does not mean we will all get along.

The ignore feature is great for people who want to save time and not read posts from people that they dislike, or dont want to hear from. I just "ignore" stuff myself manually and move on.

QFT, I mean honestly.. its a bunch of 0's and 1's on a forum. If it is *really* really bothering you, might need to look at some other things besides whats being said on a forum board.

I also think they stopped stacking mana spring and stuff all the same time, so dont worry about trying that either (to the OP.) *sidenote* damn those used to be the days when we could never have to drink ever lol.
