View Full Version : My battlegroup has 0 lvl 80 matches right now....

I am playing on Whirlwid battlegroup (few level 80 groups).

It is not 3 AM CST, not to late at all, and there is only ONE SINGLE level 80 game going on.

Not one AV
only ONE WSG
Not one EoTS (and it is the EOTS holiday weekend!)
Not a single Strand of the ancients
and not a single Isle of Contest.

This is EXTREMELY frustrating. I only play this game for pvp, and my playtime is usually late at night due to work -- usually from 1 AM on. I do not remember this being a problem in the past, but now after midnight I can hard every find a BG going.

On this battlegroup sometimes even in the afternoon around 3 or 4 PM there is still not a single lvl 80 AV going on.

I am to the point where I am considering completely abandoning these 5 accounts with over 30+ level 80 characters to start on a new battlegroup where I can actually play some god damn matches.

Can someone please tell me what a good battlegroup is where they have a decent amount of games running still late at night? This is very frustrating to say the least, I can not even enjoy my characters unless I stay home from work to play or spend my weekends playing wow instead of hanging out with friends and family.

It can't be like this on all the battlegroups can it? This is ridiculous.

If someone could shed some light on this I would highly appreciate it.

Thank you.

Can anyone please reply with a battlegroup that hs some AV"s running late at night?

Does anyone know? Please I need your help -- I want to start over but I do not know where to do. I do not want to pick another battlegroup and have the same problems

I usually find decent amounts of action at such hours in the reckoning battlegroup (US), at least in arena. It varies, but is usually nowhere near as bad as your list in battlegrounds.

But i'm not that much into pvp, so I don't have that much of a track record of checking it.

I would look to the whirlwind forums. Is there any battleground with tons of games going on? I have not seen anything too amazing really to make me think its something you can instant queue for universally.

As I recall the play changes quite a bit as well, there is a website (name escapes me) that used to do some cheesy census like stuff, bg win loss, bg queue times.

Well I figured out a solution to my problem after doing a little research.

I am moving to Bloodlust battlegroup , it has 5 or 6 high pop oceanic servers in that battlegroup so during late night it is just as active as during the day.

I checked now and there were even 50's and 60's av's up and running -- which is something you NEVER see on other battlegroups this late at night, so that is now where I am headed.

I am not moving all of my characters over, just my shamans I think because it is going to cost way to much money to transfer over so many groups of characters

I xferred to Ner'zhul (in bloodlust BG). Queue times for arenas seem to be instant just about any day of the week.

For battlegrounds, Isle of conquest is probably the worst (horde side), and the most I've had to wait is only 15 minutes. So yah, bloodlust is definitely the battlegroup for lots of people queuing up for bgs/arenas.

Bloodlust is great except for all the lag...

Lag in the battlegrounds? Because on the server I went to my latency was all around 100-110.

Give it some time. There are definitely some bgs that I've been in where you cast a spell and have to wait nearly a full 2 seconds before it casts.

I'd still take that instead of waiting an hour+ for queues to pop.

On whirlwind it was not even waiting an hour.

If you queued at around 1 AM or 2 AM for anything other than WSG or maybe AB -- you would be waiting at least 12 hours for a game to start.

Only thing that runs at night is WSG. Last night I was on for a 6 hours period between 2 AM and 8 AM and there was not a single BG going except 1 WSG match.
