View Full Version : Undocumented 3.3.2 changes?

I started team of human locks today and noticed a few aesthetic changes. Nighthawk38 also noted a new skin for the Fel Reaver. Has anyone else seen anything cool or just new with the patch? Makes me wonder if they are starting to add stuff to lead up to the expansion. "Brains . . . !"

I saw a rare spawn of the bright yellow orb in the sky. Oddly enough, it seems to always be there Tuesday mornings. :cool:

Still at work, haven't logged in yet.

Idk if it's broke, but i noticed my Vanaskos didn't load, everything else seemed ok.

I couldn't get past 45% of the patch then figured out that i needed to right click and run as admin (win7 64 bit).. it loaded but NO addons working ..bah

patch working fine for me but I don't see any changes to humans - I wish they;d fix the ugly face texture some have... wtb wow game play and aion character creation

I heard in general chat that Fang is stuck in HM. Nobody knows if it is a bug or not.

Got Saurafang down last night after 6 wipes on 25man. We eventually heard about the harmode problem as well, one of the suggestions was to leave the instance, set to hardmode and then back to normal and try again. Got him down after another wipe, but don't think he was any easier. We had been one shotting him for the last few weeks, so something was definately different.

I have been having issues with FoS, but I think it is latency issues.
In general on patch days I feel latency is higher and then drops over the following days, so I am waiting until the weekend to see if everything settles down.
Having said that, they are doing rolling restarts today which may tweak some stuff.
I do think they are tweaking some stuff without patch notes though :(

Maybe this is payback for all those guilds that easymoded him by using a druid to typhoon the adds off the cliff or used cannons to save people from marks ;)

Saurfang was changed so that he generates more blood power from blood boil but not from mark of the fallen, and that full absorbs don't stop the blood power gain, IE it isn't free if you have a disc priest anymore. I'm told this was confirmed by blue from someone in my guild but I haven't seen it myself. Didn't have a problem with him on 10, but he gave my bad guild a romping on 25.

Amber drakes in oculus got nerfed. Time stop has diminishing returns now, at least on the last boss anyway. I was taken by surprise when 5x amber didn't work. I don't recall seeing this in the patch notes but I could have missed it.

Seems like the Saurfang changes have settled down, we had no problem with him last night in 10 man, and was our first kill without getting any mark.

Didn't time stop always have diminishing returns?

They fixed the swimming pitch up/down problems. Originally if you swam to the surface or simply entered water your pitch would zero out, prior to the last patch this wasn't true. I was constantly entering water and starting a dive. Swimming to the surface wouldn't reset it. That is now fixed.

Also I always thought that mounting your flyer should reset your pitch (it didn't use to) but it seems that has been corrected. Although I haven't done enough testing to verify this.

I always hated it when mouse driving around I'd stop to mount the flyer, jump up and imediately fly into the ground or into a pack of mobs (when using the keyboard to fly). I always had to jump up and then land again to reset the pitch.

Pally HP got nerfed. I lost ~1.5K overnight. Not happy.
