Well the video from the link made me laugh but is the only point to the game just killing elves? Only watched the vid.

OK, so I played this game today, it's still pre-launch and you can only get to lvl 10, but so far so good, it's actually pretty damn fun. It's like the random dungeon finder tool for PvP and PvE and you get people who don't knwo what they are doing, but some classes like the engineer can almost solo most of the instances XD

it's fun, I recommend it, and you don't have to pay per month to play most of the game. There is a huge Guild vs Guild PvP arena which is an additional subscription cost I guess, but all-in-all it's pretty cool without it too.

looks decent on the graphics, but according to the faq there is no quests, no exploring(?), and no elves :P

http://hi-rez.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/108 for what i am talking about.

I guess if you really love fps shooters then this is a one to get, but if you enjoy questing and exploring new worlds(zones) then I would put more thought into buying this. I still might check it out if they have a free trial or something

The main part of the game costs to buy like a regular game and is then free to play.
They have a subscription based module to play the conquest part of it.

Me and my friends bought this, and so far so good. Its not an RPG game, so there is :
No - Inspect
No - Gear that improves stats ect (havnt found any yet, its only for looks)
No - "´World" Its a maincapital that ur in, and the game is instance based, both in pvp and pve wise.

But as i said, its not a MMORPG, its an MMO FPS game. The FPS part is really nice and the combat system is cool, UI is clean and nice without confusion. Your character have a few skills that he can use, looks like about 5 top, but they combine it with some nice weapons to make the game rich of choises for combat. Vendors and AH exists and im really looking forward to se where this game will go.

If u like FPS games such as Counterstrike and stuff, but whant the MMO feeling, fast queues even if ur DPS and some nice graphics i can recommend this game.

(Sorry for some typoes, Eng. is not main language :))

Are you guys still enjoying this game? I'm stuck in a hotel room because of work for a week or 3 and I'm looking for a good time and was considering this. It's only a 67 on metacritic so I'm wondering if the enjoyment has lasted more then a week on it.

personal Star Trek Online update: I enjoyed the ship combat a lot, but the ground combat is just too clunky for me to enjoy. Also there is no death penalty and it's just too easy. You can charge a group of guys, die, and respawn down the hall, and the baddies don't respawn/heal. Just walk into them until they eventually die. Too cheesy for me! Ship combat was a lot of fun though.

But thats how ground combat in star trek is, heroes always win, and its too easy....

Game looks pretty fun, maybe I'll pick it up.

Hmm.. it was fun for a while, but with so many good titles right now demanding my attention (read: STO, and now StarCraft II Beta) I am hard-pressed to find a lot of time to play this game. It is fun. And I do enjoy the somewhat unique style, but I dont think its going to hold my interest for that long. luckily its not pay to play when you are just playing missions and some pvp so i never have to worry about subscriptions, just play whenever I want =)

Well I decided to take the plunge. I like the idea of playing an online game w/o a monthly fee...what a refreshing idea!

Kind of excited for some reason, I suppose the idea of playing a game w/ a new kind of format sounds fun.
I wish I could erase my memory of Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 so I could just play those again.

I think I'm going to enjoy Global Agenda... at least for the week or two I have to live outa this super 8! (god bless this hotels blazing internet.)

Looks pretty sweet, but I'll stick to WoW. Now that I'm multiboxing, running a Priest as main with 3 BM Hunters on follow makes it feel like a 3rd person shooter more than soloing my main hunter. Plus, if I go Surv on them, with the extra instant shot spells, I'll park less with them just so they can shoot. That's my run-n-gun team there.

Besides, I'm a sucker for the whole droploot/stat stacking rpg system.

lol don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to be playing my boxing team right now. It's just my laptop isn't really multiboxing capable. I'm only doing this to kill time in a hotel room. It's been pretty fun so far though. Just making one of each class to screw around with. I also downloaded Freedom Force vs. the 3rd Reich for 5 bucks off of steam haha. I do love steam and direct2drive. (don't really care for the way steam is set up, but i love downloading random cheap games when i'm bored.)
