I leveled a (feral) druid with a (ret) pally using raf up to 60 then granted my lvl 30ish warlock levels to 60 and decided to change it up so I started working on setting up my keybindings to do (feral) druid with (demo) lock but I think affliction might be a better choice.
Does anyone who's tinkered with this combo have any advice on specs that work best? I think maybe just going resto on the druid and affliction on the lock might be better. I was doing random dungeons with 3 pugs with the ret pally/feral druid and tanking on the druid but I don't know if it will be as easy with the new combo.

Any suggestions or macro advice would be great, thanks!

I'd look at a Dreamstate build on the Druid.

Basically go Balance to Moonkin.
And go Resto to Swiftmend.
I believe that leaves you three points or so.

The druid loses access to Wild Growth, for party heals.
But with only two toons, that's not a huge deal.

You have fairly strong DPS, for a healer build.
The focus is mana efficiency and mana regeneration.

I'd probably "drive" with the druid.
To manage HoT's on the toons.
And use a click sequence on the warlock.

Druid will: IS > MF > Wrath or Starfire.
You can manage Eclipse procs, by having two sequences.
The IS/MF will stay in sync.
Or just go with a single sequence... and either:
a) /castrandom Wrath Starfire
b) /castsequence Wrath, Wrath, Wrath, Starfire, Starfire, Starfire
If you have low latency, the 3x/3x will get you streaks with the proc.
If your latency is poor, then a sequence defeats one of the largest benefits of "click".
And /random is the easy answer, but you could add several lines of /Click -- for sequences of one spell or the other.

The warlock, can spec any way you like, and they'll put out respectable DPS.
I would lean towards Demonology, because the pet will let you tank most pre-heroic content.
You'll likely do most 5-man quests, with your two.
As a Demo-Lock, can slowly solo most group quests.
And the Druid adds two more dots, some spell crit, and takes care of heals so the lock can go full offensive.

That said, an affliction lock is very mobile.
And the druid is the most mobile of healers.
You would have... Corruption/Agony + Moonfire/Insect Swarm, as mobile dots.
And then Haunt/UA + Wrath, as fast cast spells.
And Lifebloom/Rejuvenation as instant cast, while moving heals.
Could be rather nasty in battlegrounds.

With two toons, you could dual queue as DPS, with the LFG Random tool.
Or queue as DPS + Healer, although the lack of AoE healing (Wild Growth) might be hard on you.
Then again, dual-spec the druid...
The lock will be easy enough to click sequence macro, to one button spam.
With two toons, you are immune to having either voted out of groups.
You'll only need a half competent tank, and possibly the 2nd spec for AoE fights.

Thanks a lot! I think using healbot to heal would make it easy to dps on the lock since I won't be hitting many keys to heal (if any). Sounds good. :)
