So i already own a G11 (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/285&cl=GB,en) keyboard and I'm considering to buy a G13 (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/5123&cl=gb,en) mousepad. I find myself only using the main profile (M1) on my G11 and my 18 G keys are all assigned. The joystick and extra keys are very appealing to me.

Now my questions:
- is anyone using both the G11 (or G15) keyboard together with the G13 pad successful? like do they actually run together?
- will the logitech software allow you to use both the G keys for the G11 and for the G13 at the same time, i.e. won't they conflict?
- any tips on how you use the G keys? I plan to use the G13 exclusively for my healer (dedicated heal keys per toon, purge, dedicated cure keys) and use the joystick to move my alts.

cheers

I know with IS Boxer, they will both run together.
That is with IS Boxer controlling each.

You have the general option to run the software as administrator.
And to use it to control the device.
Or to run as administrator (with IS running), clear the software of defined keys completely and then end the process... (which means in the future, start IS, start the software as administrator, end the software, done).
At which point, IS Boxer recognizes you have G-Keys which can be assigned as hotkeys for mapped keys.

Kind of neat, in that you can then use modifiers on G-Keys if you want.

I would assume, but am not sure, if Lax was able to get multiple devices to work together.
It would be otherwise doable as well.

I have a G13 and G15 and it works fine together. I can map stuff to G1 - G6 in ISBoxer and G13:1 - G13:32 as well.

The Logitech software lets you happily manage both also. :)

allright thanks, if it wouldn't work together under windows i wouldn't even bother trying to get it working under linux, but now i'm gonna give it a try. 15 days money back guarantee rocks to test stuff :P

Also, the Logitech software lets you configure each device, through the same software. So if you have the software currently installed on your machine it will be plug and play.

I use the original G15 and G13 together with IsBoxer. Same as the others folks in this thread. Real popular combo.
