ok, well I was a bit upset with the lack of ret pally videos in PvP, and so I decided to try my hand at a crappy video just sort of a teaser, if people want to see more, I would love to try my hand at some more complicated stuff, but I don't know if it's worth the effort if people aren't interested. I tried to add some humor, but I had only an afternoon to make it (self-restricted) and I had to figure out how to do everything :P

no idea on the songs, I recorded them from internet redio and i have no clue what they are.

Do you raid with each toon individually? I see 10 and 25 raid gear on multiple of your toons.
I'm trying to gear up my pally's but since they can only complete a few heroics right now (due to blue and green gear) it's kinda slow :(

Yeah, I dropped the AH boss 4 times for the quel'delars and I raid 25m content on my main pally, but most of the gear is PvP in that video. I use the shoulders and helm from triumph badges since they are much better than the Deadly stuff I have. So far not so much luck in arenas, only a 1300 rating, but I started the season half-way through season 7 and with blue gear through and through.

Fun times, I enjoy my paladin team so much more than my shamans. honestly just a lot more fun =)

Lately I`m getting more and more interested in the team again as well.

Sadly I never been a big DK fan so once I added a dk at 80 the fun kinda was over. I wanted to try 1enhance,4ret but atm I only farm gold with 2 teams to supply my singleboxing mage. The big hill to get decend 2 handers is just to much.

Tho these kind of movies do gets me interested:D

You're right, there is a lack of this DK+4 Ret footage...and I'm glad you shared yours with us. It's nice seeing fights that last more than 5 seconds and switch to the next one. With that team [and gear] you're able to drag out fights for awhile and survive, it's great. I love watching all the Skillstorms go off at once and just shut people down. So as for content...it was great...I like seeing survivability and drawn out battles. As for presentation...you said you were rushed so you get a 'get out of jail free' card on this one. If you make another video...I expect some editing! :) Good stuff though man...keep it up.

thanks for the comments, I do plan on making some more substantial videos, including PvE stuff, but for now it was fun to just go in BGs for a day record and then make the video in the evening.

Like I said, im really pretty terrible with my DK and I need to learn to control him better. It will come with time and patience, this was my first day really trying with him XD

@ David yeah im not a huge IWT spammer, I usually switch to it when an alt is frozen or stunned, or my main dies, or whatever have you. I find it easier to run through players and just let my team clean them up on their way by.

chains > plague strike + judge > obliterate/ death strike + noodle attack .. usually finishes anyone off while I am still running through them XD In arenas it's different, I use IWT much more often and I pay attention to grips, silence etc etc as much as I can.

I noticed that too. You are not circling around your targets. Nice video. I find WSG a bit harder to play, being all melee. Two fears then I can never catch up to the flag carrier.

I kill , kill, and kill some more. 23 killing blow 0 death on all my paladins. We still lose the match.

I've been switching my Boomkin to Feral.
Well the switch was quick and easy.
But the macros and mapped keys take a bit longer.

I'm using...

Two IWT mapped keys.
One has a hotkey, and is sent to all windows.
The second has no hotkey, and is sent to all of (Action Target Group) Melee.

I've got the ATG - Melee, mapped key.. built into my first three FTL DPS keys.

But then I also have a toggle mapped key.
Press 1 enabled the Melee IWT mapped key.
Press 2 disabled the Melee IWT mapped key.

So, when it is enabled, my team circles the target and a rapid and uncontrolled manner.
Each toon has a tendency to run off in random directions, if I'm spamming as the target dies.
But I've got a second mapped key (also for follow) on a mouse thumb button.
But I can disable this key, via the Melee IWT Toggle.
When the mapped key is off, none of the melee can have it called.
So spamming my DPS FTL keys is just dps, no FTL.

The reason for the second IWT key, with a hotkey and no mapped keys to toggle...
Is so I can do quest npc's or still move to targets, by clicking the key once.

So there's the choice of "Auto FTL DPS IWT", when desired.
Or disable that, and still have the FTL DPS.
And in either case, have IWT on a mapped key, as a single push.

It is working pretty good so far.

My ferals, with the circle about the target had their first pvp kill earlier.
Was doing the towers in Terrokar.
5x level 67 Ferals > 1x level 78 Arcane Mage.
5x Mangle(Cat)(Rank 2), dropped the mage.
He was level (Skull), but the armory showed him as 78th with 11k health.

I can't help but thinking if a second DK would be a good solution as I think you would be able to kill stuff even faster with two ice chains available.... I don't know about the loss in dps though.

Look at some of the other videos posted here for a better idea of how your videos can be put together better. I've not yet seen any video posted by anyone on Kil'Jaeden especially anyone in your guild that is worth viewing. I'm just giving you guys constructive feedback here on your videos so that they will be better for others so that we can all have a better idea of how our gaming experience is.

I didn't make this for editing and showing off purposes, I hit my fraps key for an afternoon and then put it up for people to see. My life is too busy for any real editing and paying attention right now, id rather play the game than spend the hours it would take to make a great video :P It was a teaser to show people a bit about the DK + Pally team everyone has heard about and a quick snippet of some action. I am taking more footage for a better video in the future, but I'm not the show-off type so I'm not rushing to do it :P

I for one am glad you made this video. I wasn't able to watch it all, but from what I saw of it, it was the deciding factor in me deciding to create a DK/ret team. Didn't even have RAF accross all accounts so have even paid transfer fee.
