Hi there,

i currently have my assist set as:

/assist [target=Gregman, nodead] [target=Synk, nodead] [target=Syno, nodead] [target=Synh, nodead] [target=Synu, nodead]

where the names are, as you can see my tank & shammies. now.. when my main is not around and i would like to bring my shammies to him, what should i use (main is NOT dead)?

i use Jamba Macros so length shouldnt be problem.

do you suggest other /assist macro that are listed in Wiki?

Thank you in advance! :)

You are essentially using a target based assist.

This would function identically to "The No Focus Manifesto".
Where each toon targets others in a fixed order, based on who is present and alive.
And then your spells are:

/cast [target=targettarget] Nuke

This works great in that Focus is free for whatever.
And is not dependent on a party leader, so will work in pvp as well.

I'd forum search for No Focus Manifesto.

Thank you Ualaa!

Just to be sure, this is so called "FTL", right?

greg - nope. FTL is Focusless Targetless Leaderless. Your system relies on a target and so would not work.

FTL does not work with in-game systems. You would need to use something like Innerspace or Keyclone to make it work.

@Ghallo, so, http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=25679&highlight=Focus+Manifesto - this topic should be what Ualaa meant, right? Just need to be sure when revamping my macros

Before switching to FTL, I was using the original version of the No Focus Manifesto.
Not sure what has changed in version 2, as I switched before then.

The basic idea on no focus, is to assist by target.
So each toon is targeting the active toon.
And casts at the target's target.

Which can be adapted very easily..
To your assisting the target.
Melee actually do that, and Hunters with the no-focus manifesto.

Or alternatively, just go with the full blown manifesto.
It is as strong as a focus set up, as far as what it does and where you can use it.
Plus focus is free for other things.

If you can get an FTL set up working.
That's stronger then reliance on Targeting, Focus or Leader.
