I could hardly understand anything in that convo. You play on a non-english speaking realm?

Really ?
He says he needs a screenshot before he can report Meathead (http://www.dual-boxing.com/member.php?u=1366) to a GM, I believe as an evidence to prove his point. I'm pretty sure GMs do not need screenshots because they dig trough logs by themselves. Also, the link (http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?sid=1&topicId=161056111) he gives points to a nonexistent page unless I copied it wrong.
I fail to see any serious threat here, everything he said is pretty much guaranteed to be complete bullshit.
OK, so I typed in the threrad ID in your screen shot, and I came to a thread with a blue poster saying this :
"Dual-Boxing as far as I am aware is not illegal, I sometimes play more than one copy of the game on my computer at home, when I need to run through a low level instance or help out on a difficult group quest.
The only thing that is not legal is the use of bots or automated scripts to control all these characters, this if discovered could get all of your accounts banned."
Therefore, I would not be over worried ;)
Edit : Link from the screenshot works : http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=1610561111&sid=1
Edit on the Edit : Oops, my edit turned into a new post, sorry about that.

My bad, I missed one '1' when I typed the thread ID so I apologize for stating that the link was wrong.

I rely on the tears of the haters to fuel me. They are getting hard to come by - enjoy them when you catch em.

You just feed them. I try to never get into a conversation like this. When they start in, I just stop responding. I don't even give them the satisfaction of putting them on ignore.
Granted, it is rare these days. It is typically a pissed off alliance kid that got smoked a few times in a bg or wintergrasp.

I believe I ran into that guy the other day! (the pissed off alliance kid).
My wife and I have been horde for a long time. Never ran into any of the animosity I see people on this thread talk about.
Started on alliance so we would have 80 toons by the time cataclysm comes out (kids want to make worgen...and we're kind of out of things to do with our main team anyway)
"You're a douchebag" is how one guy started a conversation with me, while I was minding my own business grinding out quests. Entertained me a great deal. Got a great deal of satisfaction out of telling him "Clowns like you are the reason I multibox." But then I just ignored it when he tried taking it to the general channel.
My wife gets upset when people start in on something. I smile to myself and ignore em. I think you're right in your approach Acidburning. I started boxing to not have to deal with those kids. Why should I have to converse with them now that I've got the bugs worked out of my system and am rollin along?

There was a guy stalking me in /1 way back in the day. He whispered me something unrepeatable (I can't recall what now) and I mass ignored him on all 5 toons. He apparently was bitching and whining in /1 for a while as I started seeing people in general telling him to STFU. The final LOL was seeing someone in /1 say, "Well, considering you reported him a couple hours ago and he's still out there questing means two things: A) the GMs don't care and B) he's got you on ignore. Which is a good idea. BRB /ignoring <soandso>." At that point, I mass /chuckled in /1. I can only imagine how bad he must have been pissed as he immediately logged out. ;)

Make sure to whisper that guy next time he's logged in and ask how his ticket to the GMs is going :)

Even if the guy was 100% accurate, I take solace in the fact that I'm a 5-boxer and not a dual boxer.
I'd imagine most of us are 3, 4 or 5 boxers, with some 10 boxers mixed in for good measure.
Not sure how many 2 box.

I play a different game but I started out as a 2 boxer and moved to 3. My reasons are for what you talk about here and more. By more I mean the schedule I work puts me at home from work around midnight or later 5 days a week. I found myself playing alone alot. Even though I am in a kinship most are already involved in a raid or in bed by then. This motivated me to box. I would much rather play a single character and run with a kinship anyday over boxing. Don't get me wrong, Boxing is fun.
I feel from reading that that this person is just jerking your chain. Because had he really done it, you wouldn't be banned by now. He's just trying to get under you skin, and is likely jelious of your boxing because he can't do it nor afford it like you do and like most others thinking...thinks it ruins the game. I wouldn't worry about him, he's just smoke without a fire.
