I'm using ISBoxer and loving it, I use F4 key to toggle both mouse and keyboard broadcasting. This usually works fine, but occasionally it will toggle one off, and the other on w/ the same keystroke, if I window swap to one of my slaves, it toggles them both on and off at the same time (correctly). But switching back to my master and its the same problem, one is toggled off and the other toggled on. The only way i'v been able to fix it is to relog and restart isboxer. Any constructive advice is appreciated!

You could break each of the repeating options into its own mapped key.
I mention this in my guide, one of the first examples.

You basically copy the mapped key, so there are two of them.
Rename one as Keyboard Repeater and the other as Mouse Repeater.
Then go through the two mapped keys, and remove the Keyboard + Mouse from each.
So one is entirely keyboard and the other entirely mouse.

There is a walk through of this, as an early example in my guide.

If you're running FTL and are using F4 somewhere else in a key combination it could be conflicting. ie - CTRL+SHIFT+F4

lax helped me with this last night when i was setting up my pallies. I basically have my set up where ALL my keys are broadcast ALL the time. i set up separate toggles for pausing broadcasting (on alt+ tilde key) and while i was messing around with window swapping it toggled a couple things off / on.

Basically when you swap windows, some of those windows in your "character set" have their own toggle on /off of repeater per window.

THIS is probably whats happening to you, i forget how to fix it tho

i can help you set up the keys for toggling repeating and stuff tho :)

first in isboxer, in the top pane theres a "Repeater profiles" which opens up to ---> default. SELECT DEFAULT

after selecting default you will see some options on the bottom left pane, click hotkeys, now you'll see the options for hotkeys in the right side pane.

from there select toggle keyboard repeating /mouse repeating/ or BOTH and set an individual keybind for it ( i know some people with g15 keyboards use the m1 m2 and m3 keys on their keyboards for this, and i've got it set that way too :) works good and its out of the way so you dont accidentally bump it while playing.

Export this to innerspace by clicking file at the top and selecting the option to export to innerspace, close the window and you're set :)

---------------> this sets up the keybinds for you. now lets see why you're getting random toggles of the repeater on and off, most likely due to what happened to me ;)

OOOO KAYYY :) i dug a little deeper into my setup, first lets take into account why you're toggling off randomly, is it ONLY happening when you switch windows? if so here's how you fix it

In the top pane click on Key maps ----then----control----- which opens up the control key map options in the bottom left pane of isboxer. From here you need to find "ACTIVATE REPEAT" and click it. It will open up the steps list, in which there should be TWO steps.

Click on step one and then look in the far right pane, now you should see target with a selector box. and key repeat and mouse repeat.

From here set your target with the dropdown to "window:all w/current"

Do the SAME THING for step 2 as well

This will make sure it is doing the same thing for each and every window when you switch to it. I'm not exactly sure if this will work however, but i had the same problem with it randomly turning on and off when i switched windows too and this solved it :)

hope this helps! :) if it doesnt rememer isboxer.com theres a link on his website to the webchat iirc and there's almost always someone to help out :D lax and ualaa are always helping folks with simple fixes like this! good luck !
