Mojo now has hotkeys. At this early stage there are only three of them, and their actions are predefined, but all the infrastructure for hotkeys is complete and you can assign complex key combinations to them.

Before I go on, let me menttion that several things in this build are disabled. You'll see grayed-out buttons and menu items. I did this because the features are half finished. They'll probably be finished in the next build.

Before you can use the new hotkeys, you have to set their triggers. To do that, go to "Predefined hotkeys" on the Main menu.

Click the Set button for the hotkey you wish to change.

A window will pop up where you set the key combination that triggers the hotkey.

After you've set a hotkey, if you press its trigger, you'll see messages on the Geeky Stuff tab like the ones shown here circled in purple.

1st bug report - when you click on "hotkeys" and it gives you the talk bubble that says "sorry - hotkeys not impolemented yet" - it doesn't go away until you manually close it. :D

EDIT - Update:

Ok, auto update installer worked fine (again)
I assigned "PAUSE" to toggle broadcasting on and off. Works great. Then I set it on all the other mojos and played with broadcasitng from random mojos (I mouse over to those PCs with input director). Just used the WoW login screen for testing. (with this added ease of toggling - I can really see where the screen overlay would come in handy ;) oh well, future build!)

I noticed the "WoWs" button is greyed out in this build - didnt' really do anything anyway, but just something I noticed.

so far so good!

I did that on purpose. How is it supposed to work?

(By the way, if you move the big window the balloon stays in place -- I already know that.)

Edit: Oh, it stays on top even if you click on another program. I see what you mean.

At least in my mind - I'd expect it to close itself at some point. 5 seconds? 10 seconds? Maybe when you click on something else?

Its no big deal until you move the mojo window - and the "talk bubble" doesn't move with it. lol

This is very minor though. Just cosmetic.

I grayed it out because there's a huge amount of new code behind that button now but it's not quite finished and I didn't want people to waste their time telling me about the unfinished part. It'll probably be working in the next build.

No, I'm glad you told me. I think these little details matter. They make the difference between feeling like, "Man this a nice solid piece of software" and "This is amateurish but it does the job."
