Hi,

I have 2 weeks left on my RAF and loads of time to play. I want to experience the horde side of leveling from 1-60 before it is destroyed in cataclysm.

So my question is: What combination would be the fastest way? I have 4 accounts linked to my main (I 5-box on alliance) but I think doing 5 shamans again would take too long.

So 2-box, 3-box, 4-box, which do you think is the fastest way to level with RAF on horde (remember, I only have 2 weeks)? And if you have any thoughts on class cominations as well, I'm open to all suggestions.

Thanks :)

Youre quite experienced with all classes, it might be fun to try druids. Probably one of the few viable PvE combos thats not a multi class other than shamans. Either tri box or quad box, but remember tri isnt really that useful endgame.

If $30 is not too much, a character faction transfer to the horde, would get you a booster.
Even if your route was quests, that would be a lot faster then 4x lowbies.
Not sure if that is "experiencing" the leveling or not.
As you could still read every quest for the feel and lore.
But then plow through them and level to 60th at least, in a relatively short time.

If the transfer is temporary, it would be another $30 to send the toon "home".
And there is a 3-day cooldown on transfers across factions.

If you end up going with 4x toons, just about anything will work.
I'd suggest doing something you haven't tried before, at least boxed.

I found 5x priests (talented towards Disc as I leveled) was surprisingly little downtime.
5x Smite would kill things in one volley, whereas 5x Lightning Bolt needed a 2nd cast of something.
I wouldn't have thought priests would take less time to level, but they beat Elemental.

Hunters are pretty crazy.
The quest for pets is a major annoyance, doing it 4/5x, but after that, they're pretty easy.
And good vs both singles and groups.

Anything can be fun.
Two considerations...
a) Go with a composition which you can pvp with, so you can experience either side of the fence.
b) Go with a strong PvE composition, which can support future horde toons, if you'd like to play more then one team on each side. In that case, tank + healer + dps that complement your tank/healer choices.... If you don't have a 4x Ret + 1x DK, consider leveling 4x Ret now, and creating a DK (who will be 57/58, leaving the starting area).

I would think using a boosting lvl 80 would defeat the purpose of experiencing Horde leveling 1 - 60 ? :P

Can we get a RAF only forum? It seems like over half the posts on DB are about RAF
just kinda annoying to sort through when this topic has been beaten to death, has a FAQ, and a million posts to search
