i heard that if you are going to do the whole instance your toon have to be across the bridge (the bridge at the start). I never tried parking the toons at the entrance and just leaving them. I took out the guys at the bridge and guys that would agro the bridge and park them there and i had no problems. So at most you will only have to move them once.

I boosted my guys in strat until lvl 60. One of my accounts only had the orginal wow on it so couldn't go to outlands. I was going to do the trail and start boosting in ramps but forgot and next thing i new i was lvl 60. At 60 i tried to boost one of my 60s in ramps, but was only getting like 2 bars per run (no rested xp).

EDIT:
Also if you are boosting your guys chance are that you have shit gear for your team. So what i did was i did the first half of outlands (like first 10 quests that gear your guys) and all the elite quests with my booster and then said good by to my booster. This will make it so that your team will have good gear before booster leaves, unless you do the AH.

What you should also do on your team is bring them back to the lvl 1 starting zone and tag a bunch of lvl 1-4 and just have them beat on your guys to get the defense up. I found this out the hard way. When i got to outlands with my druid he had a defense of like 10. When my booster left i started to attack mobs, being melee with only 10 defense, i almost died all the time.

My gang is about at the same point. Here's what I've been doing...

At 55, I left Scholomance and ran them through Ramparts and Blood Furnace. BF was preferred for me, because there's just a ton more mobs. You have to drag your team along some, but it's not so bad as there are plenty of big rooms of mobs where you can park the newbies safely and then take your main in to scoop up the room and rendezvous with the team as they die. First boss in there drops a Libram as well, which I got 6 times in a row, oddly.

I didn't know that you can drop characters off after the Ramparts bridge and still get XP for the whole place. That would have been handy to know. :)

At 58, I took my gang and did the first few hellfire quests around Thrallmar and some Falcon Watch quests to get some gear. They were wearing BoA stuff and some SM mail and some L6 starter gear, so just about every piece was an upgrade. They also spent the first 20min of questing flailing away and whiffing on mobs in order to boost up their 2H weapon skill. You can make this easier by occasionally having the team follow your powerleveling tank around in BF or Ramparts and letting them whack on a mob that is at half health or so.

I did both the Ramps and BF quests with my tank running them through, as well as some of the quests like Cruel's Intentions and the gang hit 60-61 or so. With everyone using Divine Storm, they are pretty much able to quest without any problem now. Weapons are still Mograine's Mights and one 2H Scholo sword, which is pretty pathetic, but they're fine since they're grouped up.

With a little gear, the team is durable enough that I've had the new pallies follow my L80 bear tank through BF a few times so that I can get some practice with their DPS macro and familiarity with not having them run off randomly. This is mostly to avoid needlessly wiping when I work in my lower-level DK tank (who is 64). It does help clear the place faster too.

Going to just run with the three pallies for another level or two of questing and then I'll merge the DK with them and quest in Nagrand at 64. The last Pally is still out of the picture since he's already 70 and is standing by in Outlands to join them. I think questing through Outlands is probably the best way to go from 58-65. I do plan on running the odd instance here and there before 70, but I am waiting until they're geared better and I can do an instance where the L70 can join without gimping the XP.

Summary: Powerlevel until 58-60, do Outlands quests for gear, glory, and quick leveling, then start instancing more late Outlands and early WotLK content.

Ramparts - definitely. I just, within past month got 2 teams to 60 (2nd one within last 2 weeks), and while I did Strat (not Scholo) I went to Ramparts at 55.
5 1/2 to 6 clears I believe. If you have a well geared 80 it's so fast.

Kill the mobs on the bridge, and about the next two groups, then move your alts to the middle of the bridge.

IMPORTANT!!!
Maybe I was doing something wrong, but I clear every mob EXCEPT Vazruden and Nazan. Nazan's flames hit your alts, even if they are on the bridge. (Never tried moving them to middle of zone, didn't see it worth the time.

I found Scholo a lot easier/safer and better exp/hr than ramps. I went to ramps at 55 did a run, then went back to Scholo until 60.

I boosted my roommates toons in Ramps at 55.
He didn't have a higher toon to run them.

Pretty much iLV 226 at the time on my pally.
They moved up with me, not sure how far they had to, but I wasn't playing them.
Just basically doing the kills, while he did the looting.
With RAF 55-60, for two sets of teams was an afternoon.
Something like 3 clears for each team.

I got a dinner bought for me, out of it.

I always found it nice to leave scholo at 56 becasue if you leave at 55 it takes 6 ramps run to get to 60. On my lock I was getting 5 runs done in 35min so i had to wait.. so its faster if you spend 15min to do 1 last scholo run to 56 and then do the 6 ramps runs. imo :D

Literally last night got from 54 to 60 in about 2 hours. Started in UBRS to get last half level to 55. Than ran both alts through to BF which IMO gives slightly better XP (average mob level is 61 rather than the 60 in Ramps IIRC). Did three runs in there to get to about 58.75 / 59 and a last run in Ramps for any nice loot and the last few XPs to hit 60. Just a note: Once I got my mount off Rivendare (on my boosting DK) I never bothered with Strat/Scholo as while they do give good Xp they're (well scholo isn't) pigs to get to. After doing BRD from 40-45/50 I go straight into UBRS to 55 and then as above. First pair I worked on I just did Ramps and it felt a lot slower.

Pro tip - create throw-away DKs (unless you actually like them) and park TWO at Scholo and TWO at Strat.

When you want to boost, summon your team there.
