Why am I running out of mana so quickly?

I recently switched to the click-button macro (Ualaa, you are the shit! I love you for explaining how to set this up) and I am running out of mana like crazy.

I go to a training dummy and fire away with FS, LB, CL, LB, LB, etc.

Just the one shammy or all of 'em? My shams are in trashy gear and I'm sitting on 368 mana regen where yours is only 175, though I think that's mostly the PVP stuff doing that. Your haste and crit are double mine, though.

yeah, if I don't have a pally wisdom buff I can burn through it fast too.
make sure you keep water shield up at all times and if you are doing PvE then less PvP gear should help. PvP gear is usually kind of low on the intel.

Yeah, I have to shed the rest of the pvp gear bits. That is probably it. This guy represents all my boys, minus the healer.

DOH! I forgot about the pally buff. I'll have to check that out later.

Or mana totem + Blessing of Kings (Wisdom doesn't stack with Mana Totem if I recall)

My shammies ain't 80 yet, so my experience doesn't help. lawl
Speaking of which, leveling up 5 characters without RAF and emblem BOAs is a pain, plus having a job.. you know, gotta step away from the game on the weekdays :o

thunderstorm on cooldown (unless you're specifically saving it).
refresh watershield like a crazyman

you might think about removing CL from your /click sequence and manually trigger it

regarding talents - you might consider moving the astral shift points into unrelenting storm

The nice thing about "click"...

You can easily drag a macro (castsequence) out of the click area.
And leave it as a blank button.

It is pretty easy to switch the order of spells.
Or omit spells entirely.

I like to have unrelenting storms, at least until my gear is at a point where mana regeneration is not an issue.
PvE gear seems to have so much mp5.
Maybe mix the gear a bit.
Experimentation is good.

Shed your PVP gear for PVE gear. I had exactly the same problem.

I'm now in almost all PvE gear and I hardly every go near OOM. I dont use Wisdom on my Paladin. If I use my Warlock who is Destruction its even better with Replenishment (and this helps my Pally who is always going out of OOM even using his offspec "heroic" tanking spec).

Your saying your dropping healing x2, mana totem, blessing kings (sanc on the paladin), and your warlock has replenishment. Yes this is the optimal efficency. Even with 1/2 Spiritual Attune and Plea your paladin should be in excess of fine without a healer.

Wish there was a way that made blessing of wisdom and mana totem clearly not work visibly so people didn't run around trying to use it.

In a similar fashion I've been having regular mana problems with my pally, though the shammies don't suffer on mana much at all, even though chain lightning is in their click sequence. Mana totem/Kings is the approach I use.

My pally just dinged 70 (he has heirlooms while the shammies don't), most mobs die before judging returns much mana. Is it simly a matter of my regen will be in the toilet until I get divine plea next level?
