I prefer Scholomance because you dont have to run the guys around. They can get xp just standing at the entrance.

Yes, I really like Scholo, it also makes it easier for aggro if you are looting, clear the room use lowbies to loot and then move on. They drop a ton of runecloth which you can either sell or use for faction rep :D

technically, there is a quest chain right outside scholo you can do to, that yeilds a good chuck of XP.
Think its 55+ ?

The door is indeed locked. The quest chain for the key starts here (http://thottbot.com/q5505). Read the notes in that link to see where the differences are between the factions.

Yes it is 55 plus and also worth getting the barov quest back at chillwind camp too, the only issue with the chillwind camp quest is that if your higher toons have done the quest to go to the horde place then they will be phased for the part where you are sent to kill the last Barov.
The cool part of the quest chain outside Scholo is that you can complete multiple parts of it with one run, just hand in the sections as you get them and go back into the instance to do the next part, no need for a multiple clear. I always do my last runs up to 60 in schol and the only thing you might need to worry about is dinging 60 on all your toons, my strategy always is to have one toon at 59 and the RAF toon hit 60, then grant a level to the 59 and you are pretty much 61 in a few minutes.

kk scholo it is ezway to get in the doors I believe they are locked. The only absolute ways I remember to get in are having the key or jumping off the roof by the door, dying and then rezzing inside the door. Rogues can lockpick it I think with 275ish skill or higher, so it might open with a BS skeleton key or seaforium charge.

The door key for scholo I would skip, either get a rogue or a blacksmith with some keys, once you get in once, park a toon inside and you can then open the door for the rest from inside, the door key quest chain takes you to Ungoro Crater, I have the key on a couple of my 80s so not a big issue but for fast leveling I would not do the key quest.

I used titanium keys to get in. Im sure a lower level one will work just as well. 1 bar yeilded 20 keys.

Not really an issue with Stratholme though, the pull path has you bring them all back to the entrance anyway. Or if you split it up into two, there is a wall that is only a few yards away from the entrance where they will get XP.

Are you doing RAF? I even ran a guildie through strat at 58 and she dinged 59 near the end of the run and was only ay 25% at the beginning, no RAF involved.
But also you will find the closed your toons come to the booster the more xp you will also get ALTHOUGH it takes more Xp to get a level then :)

I really am not a big fan of strathome personally. I have run it a few times but the thing that gets me with it is the roaming big guys and also some of the traps which if you are not paying attention can kill your lowbies and lose xp.
Personally I think scholomance is the fastest, first two rooms and then reset it. Makes it very fast.

Ya but then you run into being locked because it doesnt take 12 min to clear those two rooms I clear what i feel is the whole damn place in 9 min

Perhaps clear more than just 2 rooms? This is my video from before 3.3 hit. 3.3 had no real impact on Scholomance boosting besides AoE damage being nerfed.

Well that video that I linked is at the 10 minute mark [according to my in game clock] and this is before 3.3 nerfed AoE damage. In that video I'm laying down 100k Shockwaves in a big group of mobs, now I can only lay down 35k at most. I believe the run takes closer to 15 minutes these days w/o looting everything. If you're able to do that video's run in 9 minutes after the AoE nerf...then I'm not sure what to say. Most people seem to like Scholomance more than Stratholme and if you, in fact, fall in that category then I'd say...run the instance a little slower so you can stay with the instance you like more.

Is the route I took in scholo with my dk. The XP will speed up a little as you get over 50, at 45 stuff is way red to the boostees. I never did it without RAF, but I don't think it will be too bad. Dunno about the aoe nerf as I haven't played since the patch.

I just boosted in scholo with my 80 pally using Fenril's approach in his video. I usually cleared in about 9-10 minutes. I find it a little odd that consecration didn't get aoe nerfed, but I'm not complaining at all :)
This is my preferred boosting path since 3.3, netting my last group 58 in ~9 hours played with RAF:
1-10 Quest
RAF Summon toons to SFK with main
10-20 SFK
RAF Summon toons to SM
20-45 SM
RAF Summon toons to Scholo
45-58 Scholo
RAF Summon toons to buy spells/weapon skills/riding skills/etc
Go through Outlands portal in town
Have fun from here :)
Now that I have those 3 instances down without having to move my toons at all from the entrance, my next few groups should hopefully take 8 hours or less.
