Hello all. So I have been reading and reading over these forums for about a week now. Yesterday I finally booted up 2 instances of EQ2 and figured lets give this dual boxxing a try the manual way. I did fairly well but it didn't feel right to me. So Now I'm thinking I need a easier way of controlling my second toon.
What I wanna know is. Can I have my n52 setup to control my second toon? Ie account number two is in the background. I don't want the n52 to control both my accounts. Or is there a simple legal way to control my second account using my hotbars on account number one?
So sorry for these questions. And I'm sure they have been asked and answered. My mind is on overload with all the info you have here. So if you could help me out.

yup very easy assuming you can rebind EQ keys like you can WoW (as in everything) Just bind the n52 keys to all the movement/actions you need in the 2nd client but dont bind any of them in the first client and use a software multiplexor like keyclone to send keystrokes to both.

keyclone is a software keyboard multiplexor, it basically will send keystrokes to multiple windows of your choosing, in this case both EQ windows. The reason you need this is because windows does not allow non-active windows to receive key input because in normal circumstances this would cause problems. There are other free solutions but keyclone is excellent and well worth the money (10bucks). You should check out the stickys/FAQs regarding this stuff to get a better idea how it works.

EQ/EQ2 is an unruly beast... and their input model is geared to not allow multi-boxers. as such, keyclone will not work directly.
you can get innerspace by lavishsoft, run it.. run keyclone.. run your EQs and lock them into the foreground... and then keyclone will work normally.
it will work without innerspace... but only if you run 1 EQ and 1 keyclone per machine. EQ/EQ2 require the application to have focus, or be active, in order to process input
good luck
