Hi all,
so I want to clarify something, I have 5 accounts with level 80s across all 5 accounts. Now I want to add additional 80s to these exisiting accounts. I have 4 vanilla wow accounts (the sale ones for $5 from the blizz sale they had) but now that I am thinking about the linking I am not really sure what way to do it to get max number of 60s from RAF. I plan on throwing away the vanilla accounts once I am done so the goal is to have the most boosted toons on the exisiting accounts.
The most I have ever boosted in a dungeon similtaneously has been two RAF toons with an 80 boosting, I think this is also my only choice here?
It is so tempting to do the normal A B C D linking but it would get very expensive moving the new toons to my exisiting accounts :(
Thanks for all the help

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. However, you are trading off your time versus your money basically. The quickest way to get the most characters is to use all 4 new accounts, RAF from a good level 80 booster (prot paly, mage, etc), and the xfer the chars at the end. It's also, however, the most expensive as you will have a lot of xfer fees as you point out.
Just gotta decide if your time's worth the money or not. :)

Well that is the point I suppose, how much is my time worth. I think going by the guides here for linking toons if I was to use the 4 new accounts plus a booster, the cheapest solution might be to dump the current accounts and transfer the toons from them to the new accounts.
From what I am reading it will be twice the work plus a ton of lost granted levels if I use the current accounts I have :(

Basically we can have up to 4 toons boosted at once, by an 80th.
So you'd set up:
A (Booster 80, not Linked).
B (Existing Keeper Account) -- RAF Linked To -- D (Disposable Account)
C (Existing Keeper Account) -- RAF Linked To -- E (Disposable Account)
B/C both need an RAF link.
And A is boosting.
Which doesn't give you a lot of choices.
Still, you boost 1-60, on BCDE with A.
And DE grant 30 levels each, to BC.
Or if you do two 60's on BCDE, then you end up with three 60's on BC after granted levels.
And then you repeat the process.
Except with the remaining two accounts.
Since you are leveling with RAF (3x Exp from 1-60).
It will take roughly 1/3rd the normal leveling time.
But since you are doing this twice, each set of 1-60's...
Takes 2/3rds the normal non RAF time.
Versus 1/3rd the normal time.
And 4 transfers afterwards.
60-80 will be normal time, either way.

So something that I was also thinking, how much of a hit is there running 2 toons vs 4 with an 80? I would think I would gain some of the time back with the smaller team getting more xp? On the flip side I still lose the cascading granted levels :(

I'd imagine two toons would be more experience per kill.
A
B
C
Or:
A
B -- C
Either way, experience is going two ways + booster, instead of four ways.
But if you have to do it twice, four at once will be slightly better.
Since you get a very marginal increased group bonus with more toons.
