With that said, we plan on making some changes to The Old Kingdom in the next minor patch. For instance, Elder Nadox will only get one Ahn'Kahar Guardian and Jadoga Shadowseeker will only use her Ascend ability once during their respective encounters. In addition, a couple of the stagnant groups of bad dudes between the Befouled Terrace and The Desecrated Altar will be removed, while some of the roaming groups will have their pathing altered. These changes are not to make this instance easier, but rather to make it a slightly quicker run and more in line with some of the other Wrath dungeons.

For instance, Anomalus could use his Create Rift ability 20 times before you could kill him if we wanted to make it so. This would increase the encounter's difficulty by a negligible amount, the hardest part of which would be staying awake.

I really like the idea that they want to speed up dungeon runs. But IMO, the key to faster dungeon runs is not faster bosses, but LESS MINDLESS TRASH!

Trash in 5mans is important. It is a time sink, it provides money and items for the economy, and it can be fun if well designed.

I think this is exactly one of the reasons that I'm liking HoR so much. Trash with a purpose or point or even simply interesting = good. Trash just to slow down an instance = bad.

Naysayer,

Why don't we ask Blizz to set up a server for WoW like Siege Perilous for UO ?? All hardcore PvP, only one toon per acct, no neutral or "safe" areas.... think they'll go for it ?

Need to nerf HoS brann event(hell HoS in general is way too long,) could care less about the ones they are working on. Well and add a "skip the pageantry" button for CoS.

looks like they are tackling 2-3 at a time, so I'm sure they will get to HoS too. I think im gonna beef up my tank even more so I can just make huge ass insane pulls...

Some of these changes will make the heroic achievements a lot easier.

Glad they are making it quicker. On multiple runs in dungeons that have skippable bosses I've had numerous requests to do the bare minimum so they can get their frost badges... If the instance as a whole is quicker, it should diminish this mindset. If I'm the tank though, I'm doing every boss until I dont need upgrades from triumphs...

Hopefully they take the hint that HP% based boss abilities are a bad idea, outside of 10% enrages.

Thank god he didnt do that when I was going for the achievement.

At least they are removeing some trash in old kingdom, that instance is annoying enough if you accidently pull a second or third group. >.<

This is one thing I simply don't get. Some bosses are right on the path - but some are through layers of trash. If I can skip a boss I generally do (HoS for example). The only skippable boss I do is the one in CoS - because that is so fast that it makes perfect sense to do. Generally I'd rather kill 3 bosses and get 5 tokens than kill 4 bosses and get 6. Of course, that's on my tank and healer. On my DPS the Q time takes a minute or so longer so I'll down the extra boss if needed.
