So far the best way I have found to do this is put a instance of Slingbox up on your 2nd monitor while grinding it out... However I honest to God believe that time was literally at a stand still yesterday. I was timing myself and running SM cath in 8 min flat (wasnt aware of the agro magnet goodness =) but still even while watching tv I was pretty damn bored. What do you guys do?
Also just trying to judge my speed based on others experience
1-23 in 8hrs (not sure if thats fast or not)
what would you guys say 1-60ish how long am I looking @ /played wise?

http://www.listentoamovie.com is a good choice for background listening. Usually I'll just have my iPod on though, listening to music or audiobooks. I rarely take the opportunity to find out what WoW sounds like.

I play wow because i enjoy it.
So when i play wow i want to enjoy myself.
So when i play wow i don't do anything i don't enjoy, pretty much. :P
That's why i don't have alts, hardly use proffesions, don't do dailies etc.
give me a C, an A, a S, an U, an A and a L FTW! :D

I've been watching netflix streaming too.
Also, I am in the heroic grind mode now, and the solution? Biggger pulls.

oh Heroics keep me interested... Im talking about boosting my alts...Although Im not having problem in heroics with my main team I probably could start to use my netflix streaming/slingbox there as well hehe just wish netflix would allow streaming of first run movies. I just dont know why they dont.

Cause the movie companies want you to rush out and spend $20-30 on a DVD.

I find watching videos on justin.tv the best use of my time while leveling alts or instance grinding.
AVGN is the best channel on the entire site, I watched all of the replays tons of times and I still cannot get enough of it :P

If the run to SFK is such a nightmare to do, then use your main team ot summon your alts to the instance instead of trying to run it. Now that they removed the level cap for using the summoning stone, or have they? you might have to summon one at a time, log out your main, log in an alt, but atleast you don't have to make that long run there. I'll never take my alliance team all the way to SFK when they're at that level range. I just stick to grinding DMs then Stocks. Once they're high enough, move to SM. I'm like Littleburst. I play WoW and do nothing else when I'm involved in the game. I don't even have a tv in my room anymore cause I don't watch it when I'm playing games.

I limit my exposure to SM as much as I can. Ill stay in SFK to 25 and leave SM at 35 in favor of Sunken Temple. I cant do 20 levels in that place. Also I will just run the cathedral 5 times, hit the lockout then watch Netflix or Hulu for 40-50 min. Whatever show im watching at the time will do. I have several posts that state im not a fan of Scarlet Monistary.
Also im sure you can somehow use the new dungeon finder tool to not have to run out to the instances anymore. If your boosting with an 80 they will have to run out there though and meet up with them.

I listen to acid music like Slagsmalsklubben - Sponsored by Destiny, a playlist full of dope music like that will make even the longest grind endurable and fun. I grinded Dire Maul for several days on end during one holiday, and thanks to my playlist I enjoyed every minute of it :)

My way around having to run them there is to run my pally warlock and a shammy and then have the lock lay down a summonstone lol lame I know but whatever works right. sunken temple better than ZF for lvling?

Fighting boredom can be difficult when boosting. I've literally fallen asleep couple times in middle of SM runs.
