A Few Noob Questions

Alrighty, I've bought the Keyclone App, and have followed the Basic setup in the stickies. I am currently only running Dual mages (to get the hang of this, lol).

First, let me run off my basics:

AMD Athalon 64+ 3200
2.0GB Ram (Corsair)
Geforce 6800GS (2x Monitors running off this card)
WinXP SP2 (all current updates applied)


The questions I have are:

Everything runs great, until I try to loot something on my second window (over on my second monitor). I move my mouse over there to shift+right click the corpse, and my main window goes wonky. Then I move my mouse back to my main's window (on the first monitor), and click my follow macro, and for some reason my second mage starts copying my first. Not Following, I push both mouse buttons to move, and she takes off in another direction. Also, my mouse has a bit of a problem jumping all over the place while I try to do this.

On the Keyclone GUI, I have both of my WoW's listed, but only one has an Asterix in the "Status" column. I'm not real sure if this is meaning the one with the asterix is the main, and the one without is the extra character or not.

Secondly, I've read the guide for setting up Maximizer, and I have that pretty much down. I have Reigon1 set as my main (first monitor, windowed, centered), and Reigon2 set as my alt (second monitor, Windowed, centered). Do I HAVE to use Maximizer? Because currently, it's configured, but not enabled.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

not sure on the mous thing but it might have to do with how your display is setup. you need to be using 'horizontal span' to display on both monitors since there is an issue with dual view in XP. hi FubarGrn, and welcome to the forums!

first, the asterix shows which clone is currently active.

keyclone's maximizer does not have to be used... and the commands can be used independent of maximizer (they are pretty useful by themselves)

as for the other problem... it just sounds odd. make sure the 'pass mouse click' is not active. i'm guessing that's not the problem... but this is a first... very weird.

are you running any other applications? synergy?

Lol I had just blown something up so it had defaulted back to that one. I change my desktop all the time.

lol try 5boxing :P and that is why collection quests /fail it sucks enough to loot one item (like bosses head) 5x times, no thank you collection quests :)

lol dont worry Ill keep them all PG, dont want to make the parents of the youngens go OMFG WHAT IS THAT!? when they happen to walk in the room :P That and Im pretty sure that would be agaisnt forums rules lol.
