Hi all,

Been quite a while, but I'm tempted to get back to wow. When I stopped, I had a team composed with a prot pally, a balance druid (to benefit from the buffs) and 3 shams (2 ele + 1 resto).

Since I quit a while ago (in may 2009) I was wondering if this team was still a strong team or not. There was a trend back then where a couple of the most useful totems would not stack anymore, making a more diversified team more useful than so many shamans.

So your input would be much appreciated...

Cheers,
Nyth

Yes its still a strong team. I play the same composition and I have cleared all 5 man content. The only group that compete against it in my opinion is swapping the druid for a warlock.

I personally feel the druid adds slightly more then the warlock.
They both get the team 13% spell power boost, which is huge.

The druid will have to manage Eclipse procs, to be similar dps to the shammies.
The warlock, any spec, can just cast.. as long as they open with Curse of the Elements.
Much easier to run your click sequence on the warlock, then worry about Eclipse.

Either is a strong team.
3x Elemental, is plenty of healing, for all 5-man content.
Won't need any to spec Resto.
Druid or Warlock will be DPS the whole time (don't drop the Moonkin form to heal).

I am thinking about respecing my resto druid to moonkin and one of my shamans to healing. I just do not feel like farming for more emblems to change out their gear.

As far as conflicting buffs:
