I'm sure I have heard/read somewhere that when you connect 2 displays to your graphics card you are effectively halving performance and splitting it evenly between the two displays, no matter what is running on each.
Anyone can confirm this? As I'm getting a second monitor for this PC tomorow, and I'm wondering if I should get a PCI graphics card for it too (It's not gonna have games running on it).
