Trying to see if anyone knows why ISBoxer in conjunction with Jamba keeps forcing my main toon to follow one of my slaves. I am very new to this, and I hope that someone out there can assist me.

It's a bug, not sure what is causing it exactly.
Wouldn't mind if it was fixed...

I've seen reports on this, from people using IS Boxer, Keyclone and one other software option.
So its hitting three different multiplexers..
Guessing its something to do with 3.3 and the addon API.

For me, it seems to hit if I've had strobe on.
Have switched to a new leader.
And enable strobe with a different leader then the first from the session.
And get into any kind of combat, with strobe on the new leader.
That leader seems to want to then follow the original strobe target.

Not using Strobe, or disabling it before combat is my fix so far.

i've found this to happen using octopus as well.

you might have the same problem i had... i used a focus based master. i found that when you change masters (collection quests or w/e) if you dont have the new master focus himself then clear it then the previous master will be his auto follow target. if you dont use a focus based master, i dont know.

edit: if you dont use a focus based master, you still have to reset your main character's master. if he's following the wrong toon... its cuz thats his master.

I don't know if this is a bug, but when I swich to my 2nd char from my main, and back to my main, my main is still following my 2nd char.

I just need to hit the "Set jamba followstrobe on me" and it fixes everything.

For me atleast, it took some time until I got the follow and followstrobing setup as I wanted. I fiddled around with jamba and ISboxer until I got the result I wanted.

This happened while I was trying out AV for the first time. I had no /follow macro set up because I relied on strobe. Needless to say, the AV didn't go without frustration :p

EDIT - I actually went and read of of Uulaa's post and he's nailed the occurance right on. This is exactly the steps I take to reproduce this phenomena.

I've found that the only fix for this is to have Toon1 active, press the I Am Master - Strobe Me key, which is by default in ISBoxer CTR-ALT-F12, then type /reloadui on Toon1. This fixes everything, and as long as you don't switch mains again, it stays fixed.

So you switch to the new leader.
Hit I am master, on the new leader.
Strobe follow the new leader.
And then reload UI on the new leader?
