One improvement for any software/hardware is to sync your views. You can position your camera for every client, as desired. And then save the view; you have 5 views you can save. Then you can preface your Hurricane (or any ground target spell) with /script SetView(4);SetView(4) - using the view number you saved.

For KC, the fastest and probably best option will be to have Hurricane on the same hotkey, and to rapidly move your mouse to each slave window in turn, quickly positioning the circle and clicking.

If you want to be good with mouse click spells, look into an HKN script specifically for mouse broadcasting.

Or move to IS Boxer, as that is an extremely powerful software which can basically do anything that wow allows, and once you understand the basics is very easy to configure too.

No need to switch software as Keyclone does what you're trying to do, though I can't personally vouch for how accurate it is. For ground-target blizzard/flamestrike/volley, it should be fine.

Note that you will need to set your camera zoom and angle the same on all 5 (or all 4 slaves, at least) for it to work effectively.

With KC, the fastest way to broadcast, is to press the keybind for Hurricane.
Move the mouse and click in the main window.
Move the mouse to slave 1, then position and click the once happy.
Move the mouse to slave 2, etc.

You have an option to broadcast the mouse in KC.
What actually happens is a somewhat rapid PiP swap from one client to the next.
It takes 3-5 seconds to finish, and you have zero control over anyone on your team while it happens.
Which can be bad in PvE and is fatal in PvP.

Is that for real? I thought it had better mouse support than Octopus and Octopus is nearly instantaneous clicks on all 5 of my clients across multiple PCs and doesn't interrupt anything else, making ground-target AoE/bombs/etc. trivial. /shrug

[edit] Tripleboxed, I'll point out two other positive things:

Octopus can be configured to either toggle mouseclick broadcasting on/off with a keypress (press once to turn off, press again to turn on) or only while holding down a key. I use the latter which makes corpse mass looting, mailbox opening, etc. a breeze.
Octopus can be run alongside Keyclone to just provide mouseclick broadcasting if you'd rather have that option and use keyclone for the easier setup and advanced features like keymaps/round-robin/etc.
