What can be skipped?

What zones can I skip in Northrend? I have 10 level 80s and 5 more at 70. I leveled the 80s exactly the same each time but I got to thinking, what zones can I skip and not have phasing issues later and miss important things. Obviously I need to do the Icecrown stuff but does anyone have any further insight on this?

don't do the wrathgate chain. its an awesome quest an all but it makes a phased zone so follow will break a ton. But really, you can skip everything except Icecrown if you just level in AV. so its completely up to you.

Once you've done the phased zones in Icecrown, as in everyone is on the same (finished) stage, the phased zones don't break follow.

At least, I was losing follow in a lot of places, but once I've opened all of the dailies I want to do, I don't have any phased regions anymore. I've not done all the quests in the zone, so there might be a phased area or two somewhere there.

If you leave Wrathgate incomplete, does that leave the Courtyard of Bones and Malykriss un-phased?

I've completed Icecrown but still lose follow when flying through Malykriss to do my Argent dailies, and when corpseflying from the Rise of Suffering to the Frozen Halls.

These 2 areas are about the only phasing left in Icecrown once you complete everything. As far as I can tell, they're just always going to be phasing here.
