What is Death is Temporary?
Death is Temporary (DiT) is a casually hardcore formal raiding group. We don't box, we run 10 solo toons with the goal of 10 man progression and hard modes. We came from the Madoran server where we had great success in Ulduar Hard Modes and clearing ToC10 and Ony10 weekly. Our goal is to progress through ICC10 while tackling ToGC10 and ICC10 Hard Modes as they become available. Our focus is on having fun, while seriously progressing. We take our runs very seriously and we expect the very best from our team members. We're not a hardcore 7 day a week team, we're very casual and we don't have many things we enforce. Basically, as long as your pulling your weight and the group downs bosses, everything is golden. We hand out loot like candy, we've never had loot drama. On Madoran we used loot council, and we may at some point get back to that, but until our roster settles down, we're using MS>OS /roll. When it comes down to it, the group would rather down bosses than argue over loot, since more bosses = more loot. Our goal is to progress and see content, we don't gear up alts unless we have a specific need.

Can I Join Death is Temporary?
Sure, if you see a gap in our roster above, and can make our Weds & Thurs 5:15-8:30 PST raid times; talk to someone about running with us. Even if you don't see a gap in our roster, talk to us. We have a few people that have rotating schedules so we can always use fill ins.

Raid Lockouts:
DiT actively raids ToC10, ICC10. Please keep ToGC10 free until after the raid week as well. If you have plans on running with us please do NOT get saved to a pug run for any of these instances until after 8:00pm PST on Thursdays, after that (end of our raid week) you are free to pug anything you may have missed). DiT Raid IDs are NOT for sale, we do NOT share our raid IDs. Please do NOT pug outside of the raid team. The only time pugs will be brought into our Raid IDs is if we are unable to fill a spot from the guild. If we do not clear and instance please do not take it upon yourself to pug to clear the instance without approval since we may extend a Raid ID's from week to week.

VoA will be added to the raid week once the new Arena season starts, do not pug VoA when the new boss spawns until after the raid week as we will be running this as a team so we can get people more chances for T10. VoA loot rules are MS>OS for PvE gear, PvP gear is open high roll. Raid team mains are expected for the T10 and T9 bosses, (unless your main does not need T9), outside of that, geared alts are welcome (Koralon is srsbsnz)

Scratch that - just worked it out with the wife. I should be able to make it just fine within ~10 minutes. I work with Zod - so if I'm late, he'll probably be late too. lol

I can fill either the healer or dps slot on a shaman (Myska). Plus I have a shit ton of other characters as needed.... leveled and geared. I just figured the Resto Shaman would compliment the two trees nicely.

Just a quick note on this week 1/13 and 1/14

We're *not* going to do VoA unless they release the new season Tuesday 1/12. If they DO release the new season / new boss, we WILL do VoA.

Also, we'll be starting in ICC unless we have VoA for more than an hour. Please be flexible so we may up and bail on ICC to hit VoA and then back to ICC. We will do ToC if / when we clear ICC / run out of attempts. 2 full days (minus VoA) on ICC we should have no problem clearing.

Just to be clear, if they release the new VoA boss, don't get saved, we'll be going to VoA. If they don't release the new VoA boss, pug away.


Alts & VoA, if you want to bring your alt for VoA, please have the alt right outside so we don't have to summon you and take forever swapping people around. I expect raiding mains for T10 and T9 level stuff (unless your main has T9), after that, as long as we down the bosses quickly I don't care who you bring.

Your gear is fine for our current progression level. We only do 10 mans, We're currently farming VoA T10 boss, Weekly Raid, and the first 5 bosses of ICC10. We've been cockblocked a lot by server lag the past 2 weeks which is why we haven't progressed further. Read through our posts here about us and if your interested PM me here or catch me on irc. I'm going to pull the Priest so I can effectively manage the DiT guild bank for the raid team. I'd like to start supplying the raiders with their main spec enchants again like we did on Madoran.

You should see the build up of what I would like us to be able to kill each night. You'll also notice we're extending our first raid the week of 3/25. If we do not kill LK 3/31 or 4/1 we will start fresh the next week. This isn't set in stone, this is merely a path to where we will clear this place. We may not follow this exactly, a boss may push us back, that's fine. We may come in sooner, that's fine too. Stay sharp, we won't see Putricide again until 3/18 at the earliest.
