Sick of jousting through the Arena tourny x5?

Who isn't sick of jousting x5 to get your valiant seals for all the cities etc etc. I'm sure most people already know this but for those (like me) who just started jousting or are new to wow in general (like me). Here's a multibox pointer.... Your team can DPS your target while you're jousting solo! Valiants and champions go down in seconds!

I'm sure you've all read the sticky on how to joust SMASH..SMASH.. SMASH 1,2,4 right? but how silly would that look as you are smashing those keys and your toons are firing off their totems, ohs&*t buttons etc (my totems/cc are on 1, DPS on 2, interrupts/stuns are on 3, heals on 4). In my case I only want my team to be hitting the DPS 2 key while I can hit 1,2,3 and 4 on the toon that I'm jousting with.

If you use ISboxer (i'm sure you can do this with keyclone too) then you can modify the step for each key (ie 1,3,4) to instead press 2 for all other windows except the main you are playing on currently. I'm at work right now so I don't have detailed directions but if you use isboxer I'm sure you know how to change it. So now, if I press 1,2,3,4 on my main window it will send a 2 regardless of the key I press to all of my slaves. What a crowd starts to form as I've got a massive battle going on in the middle of the tourny grounds!

This really helps me breeze through the x5 champion daily and the x5 valiant daily for your next city.

All that you need to do is make a key to toggle specific keymaps on and off. Makes life very easy.

Or just swap your hotbar to a blank one for the alts, assuming your "Die Right Now" spam key isn't 1-10. :P

I don't bother jousting, it is just 1 seal less which means you get 4 instead of 5 a day. It is just too tedious, maybe if all of them got credit.

I just have a separate vehicle keymap in isboxer for vehicles that I toggle on/off with M2 on my G15. Works well til you forget it's on and you are pressing your DIE RIGHT NOW button and nothing happens. Like every day in TOC.

I generally found jousting for progression to not be worth the time or effort enough, even dpsing stuff down with the others.

you don't just do the jousting at the same time for all toons?

I do 5 at a time, and it takes me the same time as a solo toon.

How do you do all 5 at once? I've tried to have them all set up and target the same mob, and the 4 that aren't jousting get the "You can't do that right now." (Even when mounted and shielded up). However, they can target him and regular DPS.

I just have my toons who are not jousting stand on the sidelines obliterating whatever npc I want to kill while my focus toon stacks shields. Even though my alts can't joust with my focus, it certainly makes it much easier and quicker to do.

My main attack macros are all bound to alt 1-3 so I have no problems with these fights. :P

I completely agree, the only reason why my main group doesn't have the crusader title is for this very reason.

I must have misread your first post.

Sounds like you need to do one or two things:

1) keymaps
2) redo your config (key layout) so you're not dependent on keymaps.

(2 is the better method IMO)

I tried it this morning and it worked pretty quickly. I didn't know KeyClone had a hotkey to mute the keymapping (I'd been unloading the keymap for my main manually to do "Before the Citadel") but I just bound that to RightShift+Pause, since Keys Off is Pause and DNP off is LeftShift+Pause. Worked out pretty well.
