Hello everyone. I just started wow multiboxing and my first team is 5 paladins, starting for scratch.

I plan on leveling up slowly, taking my time to do quests, exploration and instances.
What would you suggest for paladins specialization ? 1 tank , 4 ret , or should it be best to use 1 tank, 3 ret, 1 heal ?

I did not play wow much in the past, what addons would you suggest to me ?

Is boxer setup was rather easy, at least when starting new characters, not many macros to setup yet. But using 5 characters i am wondering if there are any way to ease these :
1) Gathering quest items, any way to make the 5 characters loot a corpse ?
2) Healing tank and other specific group member, what is the best way ? (addon, macro ?)
3) i am playing all 5 sessions on a full hd tv, 40', (1920x1080) did put inactive sessions (5 slots) on the right, but i still have a difference between main session and the others for mouse broadcast and such (seems more large on maximised session than the others) , any suggestion on resolution i should be using on sessions ?

Thanks you for your time and help !
Happy new year to everyone !
Best regards

Hi,

i am playing a paladin team as well, mine already is 80 and full t9 equipped in the meanwhile. After i did i swapped one Retri paladin with a enhancement shaman, that brought a considerable buff.

About your Questions:

You normally dont need a tank healer dds setup below level 40. I leveled my paladins as Rets until 40 and got dual talents then.

Addons you should get Questhelper, TomTom, a nice unitframe addon, possibly Grid and clique for healing, LightHeaded for Questinfos, Questguru, Jamba Addon from Jafula, who is posting in this forums. Take a look at the "Macro and Addon" Subforums.

1.) Quest Items: Enable Interact with Target, and bind a key to it. /console autointeract 1 should do it, for every single account once, then get to the key bindings menu and look for "interact with target", bind a key to it and tell ISBoxer to submit that to every client, by adding a new Key to your General Key map for example. If you hit that key, your toons will run to the corps and try to loot it.
2.) For healing i would suggest grid and clique and a repeater reagion in ISBoxer (by using ctrl+alt+g, ingame, i guess, thats the standard key for enabling the isboxer GUI in InnerSpace.. not sure about that one.. if not, look into your settings for it). Bind heals to the Grid bar, and move the bar somewhere and make it unmovable. I would suggest to use decursive as well, also over repeater region. But dont forget to make a decursive Order, or your buttons would not be at the same place. Also put your Layout of grid to a 10 man raid.. that will reorder your toons alphabetically.
3.) I would suggest a 2nd monitor, and i would like to suggest the same resolution as the main window. ISBoxer normaly scales the window to show up the same resolution as the current main window. So mouse movement should be sync.

Hope thats helpfull.

I would level 5x Ret.

Prot, once you have Blessing of Sanctuary + Holy Shield, is a very decent method of leveling if you can do large pulls of weaker mobs.

But with 5x, Ret will kill things very quickly.
And you'll not need a whole lot of healing, from leveling up on mobs.

Down the road, if you do instances..
Probably one as Prot and four as Ret, will be the way to go.
Prot takes very little damage, and the Ret's can keep the tank up fairly easily.
Also you could consider dropping 1x Pally for 1x DK, once you get the team to 57th or 58th...
Which is the level DK's are, when they leave the DK newbie area.

DK + 4x Ret are a proven combination in Heroics, Battlegrounds and Arena.
The DK gives a bunch of buffs to the pallies.
4x Pallies will cover every buff and debuff the pallies have to offer.
A DK adds a lot more then a 5th pally.
Enh. Shaman would add more then a 5th pally too, but I'd swap it for a DK.
DK can tank and is much less squishy.
