View Full Version : Bad sports - Multiboxer vs. Multiboxer

I was under the impression that most multiboxers were at least reasonably mature. I've encountered several opposing-faction multiboxers who like to spam /laugh emotes at me with all their toons. I mean sure, 3 druids is no match for 3 hunters but could you at least be a good sport about it and just kill me? Anyone else have experience facing off against other multiboxers in BGs?

Multiboxing is not as rare as it once was and no longer requires the work it used to, so anyone with enough credit card power to cover more than 1 WoW sub can get up and running in no time. PvP is PvP and WoW is WoW, unfortunately there is no "classiness-quotient" inherent in the game or any of the multiboxing tools. So, well, you're bound to run into tools even if they do manage to get their heads around multiboxing.

You haven't met Yesh on these forums have you? She lives to gank lowbees when /teabag them.

Spamming is bad, but a single /tickle barrage, now who cannot laugh at 5 ambush + /tickles.

I think the only multiboxers people I see in bgs are horridly poor geared. In our battlegroup there was a amazingly geared ret paladin with 4 shaman towed around this weekend, the shaman where totally afk doing nothing. Distract would separate them from him. It was quite sad, I really felt for the guy. That's not the place to be working out those sort of bugs.

I've never seen any difference in levels of sportsmanship between multiboxers and the general wow population.

I don't see any reason to think that just because someone multiboxes they are mature/considerate.

Learn to ignore whispers, emotes and battleground chat and you'll have a heck of a lot more fun.

oh and if you can't beat the hunter group on your own, then wait till he engages someone else. Target the toon that's been hurt the worst and open up from stealth. Keep doing that at every opportunity you can.

oh - and use the strengths of your druid against that hunter group. Wait till he's engaged in battle with someone else then break out of stealth and hurt him hard.

It used to be different when the only people who multiboxed had to actually have two brain cells to rub together to get software or hardware that worked properly. Nowadays, all it takes is a credit card, a better-than-dialup internet connection, a telephone and the link to dual-boxing.com. :P

I've not met a boxer in a battleground.

And I only arena for the 10 losses so far.
Which generally means, not even going in anymore.

I'm on a PvE carebear server.
The few times I've come across a boxer, we're either same faction or neither of us are flagged.
In either case, we wave or cheer and then move on.
If its the same faction, we chat a bit, usually one of us asks the other if we're on dual-boxing.com.

I've met six or seven 5-boxers on my faction, and seen three horde side.
Not really sure if they're the same person or not; after all I have four teams so another boxer might assume I am four people.

The opposing faction is just that.
Do not assume they have your same "code of honor". They will gouge your eyes out and kick your grandmother in the face, after all they intend to KILL YOU mb'ers or not.:)

Actually most MBers I have met in PvP were awesome. We'd go at it and then sometimes bow or wave afterwards. I never met Yesh though, haha.

Yeah, maybe I was wrong. He was spamming /lol at me but the next battleground where I faced off against him I managed to get the jump on him from stealth and kill him 3 times and he finally /waved at me. I still think triple hunters with spider pets constantly webbing you is the most douche thing you can possibly do (especially in WSG) in PvP either way :P. 3 Hunters with all that immobilization and traps in the Flag Room is an absolute nightmare to get past.

That is such a lie. Tasty is the most abusive boxer I have ever seen and an extreme forum troll. I faction changed just to stop the spam I get from him :(
