3.3 Disenchant Option

I have always set loot to FFA for the sake of being able to loot all the corpses quickly from my master. I was curious however if there are any settings or settings combined with addons or macros that could be used to make it so I could utilize the new DE function.

What I want is to be able to loot anything that drops from my main master, but if its a green or better the loot window pops up and all slaves autopass which would enable the master to click DE and have it immediately disenchanted.

Sadly, I think the only way to achieve this is with Need before Greed or Group loot and that means the main does not have access to all corpses.

If you right click on the protrait of each slave, there is an option to set the flag for "pass on loot" to "yes". I'm sure there is a console switch that could be macro'd to do this for everyone at once.

I'm using an addon called passloot. I set it for my enchanter to roll disenchant (he carries an enchanting bag with him). If I want the item (for anyone), I just hit need on my main guy. The rest pass. This way, I only have to click once on my main, either need or pass.

What loot setting do you actually set it to though. Can you still loot all the corpses with your main guy?

Jamba also has an auto pass on loot on slaves option, but i'd think setting it manually would be better if you change main a lot.

In either case, set loot to group loot, and set the 4 other characters to auto pass on random loot.
Then you should be able to do all the looting on the main, and still get the roll window for green and higher.

Wouldnt setting it to group loot mean that the characters take turns having loot rights? So the main would only be able to loot every few corpses?

what i found out about looting in group loot is that if there is a green or higher item on a mob anyone can loot that item, but won't be able to loot the white or lower items.
