Hello, I am very new to dualboxing. I have been playing the game for about 3 years and now decided to dualbox. I have been playing 2 accounts on one computer and was doing fine for a week. Then I started to have display problems, all my screen is covered with green checker board pattern. The graphic card I have is Radeon X700 PRO (I have been running the game with it fine before dualboxing). But now, obviously, I need a new card. I am looking for advice, do not want to overpay, I only run 2 accounts and not planning on adding more. Thanks in advance for your help.

a geforce 8800gtx 9800series, or a low end 200 card should work well and are pretty fairly priced. you can get a gtx220 for around 100$.

Radeon x700 Pro. Is that an AGP or a PCI-e graphics card?

Personally, I avoid aTi like the plague. Just personal preference.
I have an Nvidia 9800GT (512) and it runs my 5 clients well enough. VERY populated areas drop my main frame rate to about 12, but out in the world, I stay at/near the 60fps cap.
You WILL need a 500 watt or so power supply. It says 450 as a minimum.
Also, the GTX220 cards aren't near as good as the 9800's (According to a local non-biased computer "expert" that I spoke to). I was going to swap my 1 9800GT for two GTX220's and I was told to just buy another 9800GT, as I would see NO performance gains (he stated i would see losses) by switching to a GTX220.

I was using a 4870 X2 card.
One of my slaves (or sometimes two) would freeze.
And only a hard reboot of the system would fix it once that happened.
(Could continue to play the others, but nothing else would start up after the freeze, and once I closed the other clients, had no mouse control).
Changed to a GTX275, which is the equivalent to a 1x verson of my card.
WoW plays about the same as before.
Aside from the freezing issue, having completely disappeared.
Not sure if it was the 1x/2x cards on one board.
Or if it was the ATI issue.
The ATI card was just fine in my Q6600 system, but didn't like the i7 system upgrade I guess.
