Weird follow problem

Using keyclone for 1 year but never had any probs. Now i had a break for around 2 months. I installed 3.3 and tried to go with my Team ( 5 toons ) and i just realized that the simple /follow name doesnt work anymore.

When i hit the macro i have to switch to all clients to let em follow my main.

That was not needed before.

Did Blizz change anything about that ? Or is that a keyclone problem ?

you didn't block your follow key from broadcasting, did you? could happen by accident ...

Are you using any of Jamba's follow mechanics? Jamba has had some slash command rewrites.

No keys getting broadcasted like months before and i dont use jamba follow mechanics. I even tried a simple /follow main macro it gets sended but they toons only start to follow when i go onto the client.

Looks like a keyclone prob maybe.

Start slow, and verify everything step by step.

Make a macro in word/notepad.
/Follow

Use copy/paste, and paste it in wow, to verify follow works for the toon.
Modify the notepad to /follow ToonName.

Paste it again, on the toon you want to follow with.
See if follow works; this is just checking your spelling, spaces etc.
But if it works directly copy/pasted, then it should in a macro too.

The other possibility, is the software is not broadcasting properly.
As in a software error, instead of a macro error.
Verify that you have broadcasting, probably with spacebar for jumping.
Verify the slaves don't have the chat console open, which eats other commands.
Verify you don't have pause broadcasting enabled.
Or that your hotkey is not on the blacklist.
Or if you use a whitelist in keyclone, that it does appear on the whitelist.

It sounds like the key is not being passed. i would verify that it is indeed being passed try binding that key to another action to see if it works. Also try rebinding follow to a macro that you know works.

But let me borrow the thread , i got a problem with my jamba.
How do i install it that if i complete a quest on my main i want to do it at my toons to.

How ? There is a option that says something about do what you master is doing or something like that.

Anyone know how to fix it ?

As of 3.3 following while multiboxing only seems to work in windowed mode. Try that if you havent already.

Youre right...tried it now. In windowed mode everything works.


edit: Tried other broadcast tools too...looks like you really need to be in window mode now for follow

Tried ISBoxer too and iam surprised how much you can do with it.
