Disconnects on alts...

Just out of curiosity, has anyone noticed that the toon that's following my main sometimes just disconnects for no particular reason?

There are points in Mechanar, Shadow labs, Slave Pens, and other instances that unless I move them via a key, that if I use follow on a toon and sit for few seconds, they will just disconnect.

On occassion I've seen 2-4 of my toons just disconnect over and over unless i move them from follow to get out of those points to prevent them from disconnecting. I wonder if it's Blizzard or possibly my addon's that is causing it, which is weird considering the disconnects can be repeated.

I have the same problem here, and it is not your addons. I have 2 copies of WoW on the same computer, 1 with mods 1 without. The one with mods never gets disconnected and is the main. The one without mod will be ok sometimes, but then at other times disconnects within 1 minute of logging in. I've posted on the WoW forums to hopefully get some help, but knowing blizzard it'll just be the same "reset your interface" BS.

Please post here if you get any answers. This has just started happening to me today. Played 2 hours and the alt (dual boxing) was disconnected twice. The main didn't go offline at all.

I hate the blizz forums my topics are always at page 6 or so within a few hours. Just shows how many problems there are with WoW.

This is a known issue, Blizzard said they will fix it, presumably in the next big patch. Basically, the follower will disconnect if whoever he's following stops moving. The short term workaround is to enable Vsync. It seems to do the trick most of the time for me.
