As a 5 boxer, what's your preferred method?

5x DK team?
1x DK + What? Do you boost or quest level with that?

How efficient is a 58-60 DK at getting the other 4 to 58-60? I never boosted with anything lower than a 70 (in raid gear back then).

Back in the day (pre-BC), a 60 was good enough for boosting up through Scarlet Monastery. Of course, a DK starts with very nice gear for a pre-BC character so he might work up through ZF.

Of course, if you're boosting a group with healers, you can keep right on going up through ZF to BRD to LBRS, right until you catch up with the DK and start in on BC instances.

A 5x DK team would be a blast though and might be worth it if you really want to get money going. On the other hand, lower level mats sell for a ton, so as long as you have an enchanter in your group, you should be able to make some good money while boosting.

If I was to start on a new server (meaning newly created server, so no char transfers etc.), I'd probably level up a dungeon capable team. Meaning tank + healer + dps, and do instances most of the way, and non-collection quests to break the grind. In northrend I'd do mostly quests for the gold.

I have done this a few times, the last time I did this I did the DK quests and then a few hellfire quests.

At the 100gp mark I buy a bank tab, I take the netherweave from the quests and get a few bags made. Then I gift those bags to level 1 characters and start that grind. I get a port to Dal or Shatt is also key.

I just cannot cope without my bank tab and at least my main with reasonable bag space.
