I'm sure this is documented somewhere, but didn't see it.

- I created a 5 box config for wow using the wizard
- launch it
- type the password on the first instance - for some reason a single character was broadcasted to all, then nothing
- once in game, the game seem to regonize that im chatting and dont broadcast that
- flipping to instance 2 and entering the password there, it seems to at least broadcast numbers, possibly more keys

So, how is this intelligence set up by default? What is the DNP key? :P

You need to hit SHIFT-ALT-M to disable keymaps, then SHIFT-ALT-R to enable broadcasting. Once you are in game hit SHIFT-ALT-M and SHIFT-ALT-R again to set things back to normal.

I'm guessing that's configurable?

I'm guessing that's configurable?

Ive always thought the default to turn off keymaps should be fixed :P

All this shift alt shit just confuses people and turning on off repeater keymaps seems to constantly be a pain for new users. It took me some time, some posts and some support from others to get it working lol.
It is configurable just remember keymaps are what you should be making for anything you need to use (character screens, bags, spells, ect ect) and then repeater is what you toggle on to like type in passwords.

I don't think there is any "easy" way to learn any software. You just have to be willing to play with it for a while. ISboxer is extremely powerful and it takes time.

My recommendation for all new users is to start a brand new team of lowbies and take your time leveling and learning how to best use ISboxer. It's worked great for me.

There are three primary functions of ISboxer that I've mapped to my G keys on my Logitech G15 keyboard. Those are:

G1 - Follow/JambaStrobe/JambaMaster
G4 - Activate Repeat - Although the Menu on screen in game calls this Broadcasting on/off (this is a little confusing)
G6 - Activate Maps - Keymaps on/off

This takes all the really strange combos used by default and makes it a simple one key punch.

Basically, you have keymaps and repeater options.

If a keymap uses a key, even with repeater on, you get the keymap action.
So for passwords, you want to disable keymaps and enable repeater.

For log in, I basically enable then disable keymaps, to be sure it is off.
(I use a light key on the G15, and its sometimes off, with keymaps on, at least on initial start up of IS).
Then I enable repeater (broke mine into keyboard repeater and mouse repeater).
Enter passwords.
Turn off Repeater.
Turn on Keymaps.
Win.
